I’m on the hunt for a new vitamin C serum as I’m sadly coming to the end of my current one. The one I use at the moment is Neogen Real Vita C serum and I absolutely love it. I’m a little concerned that I might not find one to beat it- results wise and also price wise.

I want introduce an SPF into my routine (i know, I know- why haven’t I already been using one? Well I just didn’t know where to start 🤯) 

I have tried sunscreens before but I really struggle with the greasy feeling. I know there are loads of SPFs out there, I just don’t know where to start. I’m super oily so any help would be appreciated 🥰

Picky Squad

I’m 30 and I’ve always had acne since I was in my teens. Ok some days are worse than others, I wouldn’t say it’s cystic acne but my skin gets pretty sore and angry at different intervals. 

After thinking long and hard, I’ve decided I’d like to try tret. I live in the UK and have tried to do a lot of reading about this before I approach my Doctor and ask him to give me tret. Is there anyone who lives in the UK and has successfully managed to start tret? 

Does anyone have any advice about the tret? As in what I’m asking for strength wise? My doctor generally says ok to things if It’s obvious I’ve done my research. 

Just any tips in general would be great too 💜

I love the packaging, I think it’s really cute. I was surprised at how thick the texture is. It’s a translucent, gooey jam type texture with a sweet blueberry flavour. I use it lightly in the day and then apply generously at night. I wouldn’t say my lips are voluminous after using this but they are definitely hydrated. I’ve always got chapped, dry, flaky lips and it’s totally cleared up now I’m using this lip balm. It’s a great product!

 Because the toner is very watery, it can get quite messy. It’s a very large bottle so may find it impossible to finish before it expires.

The toner comes in a very generous size of 300ml. The texture is just like water, it absorbs into my skin easily leaving it feeling hydrated and it can be layered too. It’s refreshing and contains 5D-complex hyaluronic acid which claims to gives an instant boost. Some other key ingredients are betaine, allantoin, portulaca oleracea extract (anti-oxidant rich plant extract). 

I have added this into a spray bottle for misting too. Otherwise, I don’t think I’ll ever get through it 😂

I need to be honest,at first I didn’t like it. The scent reminds me of men’s deodorant and I couldn’t stand the scent on my face. Then I read up on the actual product and decided to give it another go. 
If youre not into scents then steer clear of this one!

I think this product is SO underrated! I had to do my research to fully appreciate this! So you pat it into your skin after applying toner and it claims to hydrate and soothe your skin with moisture, whilst protecting it. It also energises tired skin from lack from lack of sleep.

I need to be honest, at first I didn’t like it. The scent reminds me of men’s deodorant and I couldn’t stand the scent on my face. Then I read up on the actual product and decided to give it another go because the ingredients are just mind-blowing. It’s light and watery- perfect for the warmer weather. My skin definitely feels hydrated after using this for 2 weeks. 4&#47;5

Also, it’s not sticky like some H A serums I’ve used. I find that I have to hurry when applying this after the toner (as the toner dries very quickly) or I have to mist right before slapping on the serum.

The serum has similar ingredients to the toner plus ceramides and Centella. It works well with my other products when I layer them. It is quite watery but does have some consistency so it is easy to apply and doesn’t go running straight off my face. 

I was sent this product as part of the Post Pimple Fix Set from Style Korean’s TryMeReviewMe. I was sceptical about trying this cream as its very rich in texture like most ceramide creams i’ve tried. 
I was totally wrong about this cream. It is easy and hygienic to apply as it comes in a tube. It’s fast absorbing and feels amazing. It doesn’t feel heavy at all. It dries non-greasy but leaves my skin glowing. The scent is slightly tea-tree. Amazing cream packed full of ceramides. If you’re thinking of trying this, just do it- you’ll love it!
