Hi beautiful Pickies, happy Wednesday! I have dry, resilient skin and I love love love these toner pads by Pyunkang Yul (attached). They have soothing/,calming ingredients plus very gentle BHA and PHA and some citric acid. When these are gone, I would like to find something comparable. These have really helped to keep all that gross maskne irritation at bay. Please share your recommendations with me! I have been getting lost in the researt but I have a *tiny* but of a skincare addiction so I would really appreciate some recommendations to focus my search.
Bonus if you can recommend exfoliating pads with honey/propolis!!

Dry/resilient skin looking for gentle exfoliating toner pad recs...

I received this product for free from Picky and Neogen in exchange for my honest review! Thank you, Neogen and Picky for selecting me to review Neogen’s Skincare Trial Kit! 

The Real Flower Cleansing Water in Calendula:
·       A clear watery liquid with a sweet, floral scent.
·       I experienced a cooling sensation with application.
·       The cleansing water removed residual sunscreen and CC cream with ease, but had some trouble removing water resistant eye makeup.
·       My skin felt happy and hydrated after using this product. 
I thoroughly enjoyed using this cleanser and would choose this as a refreshing first cleanser. 

Gauze Peeling Pads:  
·       Pads soaked in scented essence. The green tea pad was soaked in a pale green essence that smelled like lemony candy; the red wine pad was soaked in a pink/purple colored essence and smelled like grape soda. 
·       Pads have one very textured side, one pillowy side, and a finger pocket.
·       More rigorous exfoliation from pad in red wine essence, but using either pad resulted in smoother, more supple skin.
I enjoyed using these pads and I would love to reap the benefits from using a full-sized product.

Real Ferment Micro Essence: 
·       A clear liquid with a watery consistency and no noticeable scent.
·       I used this essence after exfoliation.
·       Essence soaked into skin effortlessly and left skin feeling plump, hydrated and nourished.
·       After drying, I experienced very even, buttery, soft skin that stayed hydrated. 
This was my favorite product from the kit. It hydrates and nourishes as claimed. 

Real Vita C Serum:
·       Serum is an amber color; it smells like sweet fruity candy, and has a rather watery consistency for a serum. 
·       Serum is formulated with high concentrations of two vitamin C derivatives; citrus fruit extracts; vitamins E and B5; hyaluronic acid and collagen.
·       After application, skin felt sticky for some time. I did not like the stickiness, but I would like to reap the benefits from using a full-sized bottle.

I highly recommend the products in this kit. I believe these products will work swimmingly together for fans of a more minimalist skincare routine, or for people who are just looking to add one or two quality items to their established routines. There really is something in this trial kit for everyone!

My only criticism is that I experienced the tiniest bit of pilling the first time I applied it; but once the sunscreen dried down, I don’t see any evidence of the pilling. I did follow a multi-step skincare routine that used quite a few products from various manufacturers, which I imagine might have caused some of the pilling.

Many of us demand a lot from our sunscreens—we want our sunscreens to protect our skin and work in conjunction with the rest of our skincare regimen, all while laying beautifully on our skin. The Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics is a broad-spectrum sunscreen that claims to rise to this challenge. This sunscreen has four chemical filters, along with a high concentration of rice extract, niacinamide, tea leaf extract, various ferment and fruit extracts, and rice ferment filtrate. 
As one can identify from the ingredients list, this sunscreen is basically a high SPF face cream. 
It does all the things—it has a silky cream/lotion texture that glides onto the skin. The user experiences a cooling effect upon application, and the odorless cream absorbs quickly without leaving a white cast. 
This sunscreen just came out so I can’t speak to the long-term effects of the niacinamide and various extracts, but I have a suspicion that this sunscreen will brighten and improve my skin’s texture with time. I highly recommend this sunscreen and I have already ordered a backup tube!

Normally, the lack of fragrance in my cleanser would be a “bad,” but this cleanser is so flawless that that doesn’t take away from the experience of using this gorgeous product.

This is a gorgeous cleanser. It is a fragrance-free, featherweight, pale teal gel. The gel develops into an incredibly soft, sparse lather and then rinses leaving clean and very hydrated skin. This cleanser is a pleasure to use—full stop. I prefer some fragrance in my cleansers since it pleases my senses, but this cleanser is so wonderful that I don't mind that it's fragrance-free.

There are no bads for me with this cleanser, BUT the fresh, soap-like scent may not work for some people with sensitized skin. However, Pyunkang Yul as a brand creates products specifically for those with sensitive skin and skin conditions in mind, so if there is any brand that’s trustworthy, it’s Pyunkang Yul. So I definitely think users with sensitive and easily sensitized skin should conduct a patch test before using!  

I love everything about this cleanser! The texture is rich and creamy and it lathers up into a rich, decadent foam. The foam is delicious. And I love that this cleanser has that expensive soap scent—like it smells like expensive hotel soap. I rinse this lather to reveal beautifully hydrated, cleansed and radiant skin!  

It’s gently exfoliating, mild and unscented. I think even folks with very sensitive skin would benefit from using this toner—there’s nothing bad to report.

First, this toner is gorgeous. It comes in a gorgeous, minimalistic green glass bottle. Gorgeous. Marketing on ‘10’. Next, this toner has a *minimalistic ingredients list* (12 ingredients) which I always appreciate. We have blueberry fruit extract, water, glycerin, trehalose, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, raspberry fruit extract, lactic acid, glycolic acid, panthenol, allantoin and three very familiar texturizing ingredients (butylene glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, dipotassium glycyrrhizate). 
This watery toner is very hydrating. I do not detect scent or fragrance. The toner comes out of the bottle with ease and I apply it with a cotton pad to cleansed skin.  I can use this toner every day and my skin barrier remains intact. But. This toner must do some kind of (gentle) exfoliating because my dry and sometimes rough feeling skin is always left baby smooth and bright. I really love this product. My dry and aging skin benefits from daily (gentle) exfoliation, but, as I have dry skin, the formulation is key. I can only use exfoliating toners or toner pads that are both exfoliating and hydrating/calming and this is both! I love, love, love this product!
