I received the rice wash off mask for free from Picky and House of Dohwa in exchange for my honest review 💕 I’m very into anything and everything with rice so take my thoughts with a grain of rice 🙊🍚

We have to talk about how pretty the packaging is!! I love the aesthetic grey tones and matte look 🤍Squeezing it from the bottle was convenient, hygienic and fun 👍🏼

🥛 Reminded me of desserts - vanilla x oatmeal x milk - all sweet flavours in one without being too overwhelming
🍨 Thick rice paste texture - think of mochi x oatmeal 🤤
⚠️ Don’t treat it like exfoliant! The tiny rice grains in it is a bit rough and may irritate your skin if you rub it excessively

𝕎𝕒𝕝𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕙𝕣𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕡𝕒𝕕𝕕𝕪 🌾

Imagine a soft, thick layer of rice paste on your skin 💛  I really enjoyed the slight cooling sensation 🌬I’ve been using it every 2-3 days, each time with a generous amount, and it’s been a great rice treat for the day ☀️

Right after rinsing, I do notice how my skin looks clearer 💆🏻‍♀️ Not much hydrating effects but very soothing 💚 I wouldn’t say the brightening effects were significant but it definitely did help a bit 💫 

Overall, this is something I’d reach for when I want to treat myself, to make my skin less dull and soothing 🥰

🍚 Rice squad? 🙌🏼

A skincare takeaway I learnt early on is the importance of hydration, so I was really excited to try the 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐨 from GoPicky and and The Potions 💕 They came in glass bottles and gave a minimalistic vibe✨ I've been using them for 3 weeks and here are my thoughts!

𝐉𝐨𝐣𝐨𝐛𝐚 𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐮𝐦
My relationship with facial oils have not been the greatest with my intolerance to any oiliness. On application, this still feels like oil, but it was thin and not suffocating. It absorbs well and I love the resulting natural glow. I use it every night and wake up to soft and plump skin. No pore clogging, no oily pillows! 🛏

𝐇𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐞
I discovered the power of hyaluronic acid the pricey way from LaRochePosay, and this reminded me of that! It's viscous but absorbs well. Since HA pulls moisture from surroundings, it leaves a slight tight and tacky finish which might not be everyone's cup of tea 🍵 I personally didn't mind as it made my skin feel protected by a moisture retaining layer. A great affordable option for anyone looking for a HA serum!

𝐏𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐞
Lightest out of the trio, the one I enjoyed most! It's watery and spreads well, not sticky, and makes your skin feel nourished. It's said to promote collagen production, but I ran out of time to know if that's true! ⏱ Also, if the stickiness of the HA ampoule bothered you, I recommend mixing it with this. Amplify the hydration effect while sending the tackiness away!

My first time trying The Potions and I'm impressed ⭐️ I can't attest to the long-term effects but would love to try their other products in the future. Check out @correlle for more!

Magical trio for a hydrating winter? 🧙🏻‍♀️

It wasn’t moisturizing enough for my combo skin during winter ☃️ Since it lacks occlusive ingredients, it ends up drying and stretching my skin in a few minutes. Would have to mix it with a serum to make my skin feel happy, which is a pity.

Gel-like, super lightweight with cooling effect! It’s the most fast-absorbing cream I’ve tried and it feels real good, sinks in real quick, leaving your skin smooth and soft!

Nothing bad I can think of! I guess with how its not waterproof? Its not one for outdoor water activities 🧐

My favourite product from the Isntree sunmer box ❤️ It is super lightweight and comfortable on skin, leaving zero whitecast and feeling like a watery moisturizing gel cream 🌊 The best one for hot summer weather or humid climates!

The cleanser might be more for minimal make-up/only sunscreen days though with how gentle it is. 

The star ingredient - yam root 🥔 in their plant-based milky cleanser was an absolute first for me! It feels really gentle and soothing while on skin, and leaves it soft and refreshed after cleanse. A nice one to add on to my list as a milky cleanser lover! 

Not sure if it helped with puffiness, and the fit a bit too loose for my face, but tight on the t-zone and philtrum area.

Did it feel cooling and soothing? 🧐 Yup! It also doesn’t dry up quickly and offered hydration with no irritation.

Nothing bad that I know of! but disclaimer: I’ve only tried multiple sample packs of it, but not the full-sized version
