Well girls, these are some of my tips that I have learned and works to me to get gifts and collaborations with brands.

All this is related to Instagram and I hope this information helps you, it is really very valuable and I want to share it!

First of all, I hate to say but the followers do matter, BUT, you don't need to have the millions of followers, you must gradually build your community, how? Looking for people who do the same as you, interacting, commenting on their posts, if someone comments on your photo, you return that comment and vice versa, you must generate engagement.

If you make a post and someone comments to you, you must respond to all the comments, the first 24 hours are the most important to generate more views, and that could be causes more people see your post.

Give likes, make comments on other people's posts, this also causes more people to follow you, because you will be present among the accounts of the people you follow.

Please go slowly, Instagram could block you if it sees that you are commenting or liking many times in a very short time, it considers it as spam, in an hour you can comment on some publications and then let 2 hours pass to do it again, I do all this and they have never restricted my account.

Currently the brands are the ones looking for me, but before that happened I had to build my Instagram to be noticed.

The lights, the spot, is very important, the natural sunlight is your best friend, if you don't have a beautiful background, you can buy one on Amazon, there are many options and many prices, you can buy light rings, and the lights that are necessary for you, I recommend at least 3, but I repeat, the natural light of the day is your best ally, I currently invested in a good light that is the godox sl60w, it works amazing you if you live in a place like me where you do not have much light input.

Edit your photos and reels, try to increase the colors, saturation, really makes the difference.

If you have no idea how to take photos or videos, be inspired by other creators, there is a world outside and I'm sure you can bring out your own creativity.

This is one of the biggest tips I'm going to recommend:

If you get a product from a brand please try to create a reel, using the product and showing YOUR FACE, don't just take a picture of the product. The brands want to see you showing the use of the product, of course you can take photos but if you are going to have a collaboration try to create videos, deliver quality content, and why? This opens up a world of more possibilities and that even that brand wants a second collaboration and even paid collaborations.

Be consistent in your posts, you can publish up to 4 days a week, brands want to see people active in their publications, a while ago I received a notification that I could have a call with someone from META to give me advice about my Instagram, I was very lucky for be invited and I had this call, so some of the tips are the ones they gave me.

The worst days to publish are Saturday and Sunday

The best days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday

The best times to publish are from 11 am and 8 pm

Most brands always look for me by mail or by DM on Instagram, I recommend that you put your email in your biography.

I can say that I have personally stopped looking for brands because I am already very saturated every week, I am grateful for all the products but sometimes the number of videos you must make becomes overwhelming, the collaborations I currently have are because they are the ones I wanted, but I have also come to reject brands.

Keep track of everything, so you don't saturate yourself, don't keep everything in your mind, keep everything in writing.

If you want to send a message to a brand for a collaboration, I recommend the following key points to be accepted;

Introduce yourself, name and surname, say where you are from, give a brief presentation of what you do, if you are a content creator, mention it, show interest in their products and comment that you want a collaboration, and that you are available to review the details.

If they don't answer, don't worry, there are thousands of brands, I recommend that you look for brands with less than 100k followers, they are the ones that work the most with small creators.
