① Preserve the integrity of air-sensitive ingredients e.g retinoids, vitamin c (since you’re not opening the bottle with a pump)
② Ease of dispensing product
③ Potentially more hygienic than droppers - especially if you are someone who drags the dropper against your skin
④ Some droppers don’t get to the last bit of product
