Hello everyone! 

~ Any advice and previous experience with epiduo (adaplene and benzoyl peroxide) or something similar is welcome ~

I've been prescribed with Epiduo for my breakouts. I'm unsure but lately I've been getting breakouts either close to my chin, or my cheeks and forehead that are bigger than a normal pimple, deep (feeling like a rock underneath) and painful to touch. I know to use it in the evenings, on dry skin with a thin layer and followup with a moisturizer afterwards. But I also want to limit the negative side effects as much as possible as I have a horrible picking habit which can make things worse. 

Is it okay to use a hydrating serum and toner after applying epiduo (and before my moisturizer and sleeping facial mask)? How much time should I wait after I apply epiduo? Anything other advice to limit irritation, peeling and pain?

Heya, 

I'm looking for a new face mask whether it's a clay, wash off, or overnight face mask (not peeling or sheet masks to avoid waste) with multiple benefits other than "soothing and calming" like brightening, tackles pores or hyperpigmentation. Do you guys have any good suggestions? Or just in general your go-to holy grail face mask that you will ride or die for?
I have normal to dry skin and it's pretty resilient however recently I've been getting bumps on my forehead that isnt common for myself.

Hey guys I've been struggling to find an affordable sunscreen sold in the UK and/or in Stylevana that has good protection (confirmed spf ratings), is affordable and doesnt have fragrance added to it. My recent sunscreen missha essence spf45 was great but it had fragrance and I noticed my skin breaking out more than ever and I dont know if it is due sensitivity to a specific product I used or an accumulation of fragrance found in my products (I would find fragrance in my oil cleanser, my facial oil, the purito green buffet and sunscreen) so I'm trying to cut out the fragrance. I recently bought the ordinary mineral uv filters spf30 and it is horrible for me (white cast, sticky finish, heavy feeling and just unpleasant to use, reminds me of the sunscreens your parents put on you when in the beach as a kid). 

I know that the key for a good sunscreen is something I'll use all the time but I don't know if I found one yet 😔. Any recommendations for POC-friendly skin, preferably chemical or hybrid sunscreen (traumatised from mineral) and wallet friendly?

Quick question that I'm hoping people may be able to relate to. 

Following the news that keep cool's bamboo soothe sun essence had failed the soft testing, I have been disappointed and was let down. I really liked the formulation, packaging and the finish it left on my skin, it was happy and I enjoyed the product very much. But as its spf was too low to even be measured (or that keep cool choose not to disclose the true value), the product I have been using to protect against UV rays and sun sensitivity is more like an overpriced moisturiser. 

My question is - following these news and the news similar to the purito sunscreen, what can I do with this product as I have paid for it and do not wish for it to go to waste.

sunscreen failed spf testing - what to do next?

POC stay clear. I don&#39;t have a very dark skin tone but still tanned and have color. This has a strong white cast which I was the most surprised for an spf 30 where usually people recommend spf30 for mineral based sunscreens to avoid a heavy white cast. It left my skin feeling sticky and my hairline feels like there is glue stuck to it. I had to buy it as my normal sunscreen ran out and I just wish I bought something else. If you use the tiniest amount you may not have any white cast but if you are using the recommended amount  (2-3 fingers) it took so much effort to blend in. And I fear it is not a buildable product due to its stickiness. It left a better look on my hands than on my face. I look like I have been sick for hours as it left me looking very pale and lifeless and dull. Very disappointed and even though it is an &quot;affordable&quot; still feels money spent poorly.

Spf 30, mineral sunscreen so if you are allergic or cant use chemical you can &quot;try&quot; this out. But that&#39;s all I have

The negative part is that it is a bit on the pricier side for the amount you get. I do wish it was either a larger tube (&gt;50 ml) or a bit more affordable. Either way I&#39;d repurchase because it fits so well into my skincare routine and works well with me

I have normal skin sometimes dry depending on the weather and usually hate the feeling of products on my skin after a while of applying. Not only is this super lightweight feeling, with no white cast, it also has a good applicator which makes applying the product easier and has no problem when you reapply onto the skin. It feels like a moisturizer which makes me want to put more than I would like as I know it will not only give me a good layer of protection but also will make my skin feel and look dewy which I love. During the winter it&#39;s amazing to use especially during lockdown where you arent leaving the house to those who are seeking for a low maintenance kind of sunscreen.

Juuust a bit on the pricier side but then again I&#39;m a uni student so everything is on the pricier side for me 😂. Nothing bad comes to mind

Lightweight, dewy finish, easy to apply. A good moisturizer for those who like me dont like the feeling of product on their skin after applying. However if applied too much it can make my skin feel a bit sticky so try to find how much works well to your skin. Comes in with cute stickers which are adorable. Great product, would definitely repurchase

Heavy, heavy white cast and as a POC it can be a pain to work it into your skintone. I would not repurchase as the heavy cast can at times be off putting and I&#39;d need to put makeup over it to mask the whiteness. Not a problem when applying makeup on top though.
Wont recommend to those who have darker skin tones. 
Quite expensive as well. If interested for this product, I recommend getting the tinted version.

Good protection; feels nice on the skin after letting it absorb and sink in properly. Sometimes leaves me a mattifying feeling.
Lasted me for a good few months but then again I live in Scotland and I am indoors most of the time so Id not feel the need to reapply every two hours there isnt much daylight in the winter and I&#39;m inside. The white cast is a problem but if I&#39;m inside and not going out I&#39;d not really care about it

As much as it&#39;s a great product with a good volume, I wish it was bigger bc I use it so often and frequently it finishes fast 😭 nothing bad to say about its performance though.
Also is a bit pricey.

Love it. Skin always feels hydrated and fresh, usually I use it as my first step of my morning routine after rinsing my face with cold water. On the days I dont feel like wearing a serum or hyaluronic acid serum on my face, this toner will do the job of hydrating and letting my moisturizer sink in well. 100% would recommend.
Great for daily use.
