Makeup transition

The primer's texture is a little slick/silicone-y, so if you have very dry skin or don't like that "silicone glide" feel, it might not be your favorite.
Some people find it doesn't fully mattify super oily skin all day, you might still need touch-ups by afternoon.
It's a bit pricey for the amount you get, and the bottle isn't the most travel-friendly (bulky-ish).

With the cushion, shade matching can be tricky since it runs a little on the brightening/lightening side — worth checking swatches first.
Not fragrance-free either, so if you're sensitive to scented products that's something to know going in.

The primer feels super lightweight, not heavy or greasy at all — it sinks in fast and leaves skin feeling silky.
It gives your skin that "filter" effect, blurs pores and fine lines without feeling like a mask.
The cushion has solid coverage and brightens things up too, looks fresh and dewy-ish, not cakey (as long as you don't overdo the amount).
Together, primer + cushion makes your makeup last way longer, even in humid weather or after a long day.
Packaging feels premium and the primer has a pump, which is nice and hygienic (no double-dipping fingers).
Does a decent job keeping shine down in the T-zone if you're combo/oily skin.

It's a jar, not a pump, so it's a little messy/bulky if you're traveling with it.
A few people do report some stinging around the eyes if you're not careful, so go gentle in that area.
The spatula that comes with it is small, kind of annoying when you want to scoop more.

The texture is genuinely satisfying — it starts as this solid balm and just melts into oil the second it touches your warm skin. Feels kinda luxurious, not gonna lie.

If you have really oily skin, you might feel like it’s not quite enough.
