Probably wouldn't be moisturizing enough for those who have very dry skin.

I'm one of those unlucky oily skinned people who breaks out+gets even oilier from fatty alcohols (which are found in most moisturizers meant for oily/combination acne prone skin). Decided to try this out since G&G states that it was formulated with people like me in mind-and it delivered. I finally found a HG moisturizer after years of trying everything under the sun, from luxury brand to cheapo drugstore stuff. Even better, it has 1% ectoin, which is a seriously underrated ingredient-it has antioxidant properties, anti-aging/wrinkle, soothing, and is a really good humectant. 
The moisturizer is a light gel with cream-like appearance; about a pea-sized amount is enough for my face and neck. Once it absorbs I'm left with a non-oily/greasy dewy-natural finish and soft skin. No matter what I put on I always eventually end up oily (just how my skin is, and it varies with season) but with this moisturizer it takes a few hours and it's much less oil that appears, compared to old products I've used where I became an oil slick in 10-15 minutes. 
If you're someone like me whose skin hates moisturizers meant for oily/combination skin, give this a try, it might work for you. 

While this product works, there is phenomenon (which has been around since I've known of this product 10+ years) that occurs where it leaves behind a greasy/oily looking film/residue on the skin that remains, and said film will pill up when applying products afterwards. This seems to be something that happens with some people's skin but not others. I'm not going to write all the details out because that would be an entire dissertation, but I experimented with all sorts of parameters (I stupidly bought 2 bottles-lasted me over a year) I tried using different amounts of product, changing product order, adding/removing products, different waiting times, using cleanser/not using cleanser, using only products from the brand, applying with cotton, applying with hands-nothing I tried could prevent the film/residue and pilling. Waiting lessened the amount of film (and you're supposed to wait a few minutes with exfoliants anyway), but even waiting for an hour there was still residue. The product worked so it didn't affect the efficacy, but I have sensory issues and having that oily feeling in every part of my face drove me insane (on top of it looking gross and leaving my face shiny, even after applying other products). The Resist 2% pore refining treatment didn't give me that issue, it fully absorbs, so I recommend to try that out if you are also someone who ended up with the film/residue issue.

It's a good BHA exfoliant (considered a classic for a reason) it reduced and prevented acne; couldn't completely prevent hormonal/that time of the month breakouts (there's nothing out there that can 100% for that type) but said breakouts were much less severe, and any acne that popped up went away much more quickly compared to before. It cleared and prevented blackheads, smoothed skin texture+kept dead skin off, and made previously prominent sebaceous filaments much less visible. It also works for patches of keratosis pilaris on other parts of the body.
While it works, I would recommend anyone thinking of trying it for the first time to get the travel sized version before paying for a full, as some people (me included) end up with a gross shiny/oily film left behind on the skin that never fully absorbs (I go into detail in the negatives section), and the full bottle lasts a very, very long time, even when used twice daily. For those of you like me who end up with the film/residue- if you want to stick with liquid, the Paula's Choice Resist 2% pore-refining treatment doesn't give me that issue. It's only 2 bucks more expensive, and as a bonus it contains peptides high up on the list, as well as antioxidants and other good actives, and keeps the acne and other issues at bay the same as the regular PC liquid exfoliant.
