I will be starting 0.025% tretinoin soon and have heard that I will be needing a non-occlusive moisturizer. What is a good one to use with tretinoin? At the moment, I have combination skin (oily T-zone with a drier U-zone) but I know my skin may dry out if I start using tret.

Like others, I bought this due to the hype I’ve seen on Tiktok. I have to say, it’s worth all the hype. I’m able to get it for really cheap ($10) at a local Japanese beauty store.
The texture is very thick. It’s almost as if I’m dipping my hand into soft tofu. I use it after shampooing my hair and let it sit for 5-10 minutes and once I rinse and dry my hair, my hair is just soooo silky and smooth. I previously had pretty damaged hair from using heat products and coloring my hair. I tried to use a K18 protein mask that didn’t do anything to my hair while being super expensive. This Fino mask is so much cheaper and does a much better job at making my hair feel amazing.

I had bad experiences with BHA in the past and didn’t use any for several years. After experiencing a bad breakout and read that salycylic acid was a good ingredient for acne, I incorporated the Isntree Chestnut BHA into my routine since I heard it was a good dupe of Paula’s Choice. 
This is a clear water type toner that absorbs into the skin quickly and easily. I’ve been using it consistently 2x a week in my night routine for a month straight now and have seen my skin’s texture smoothening out! I have not experienced any irritation to my skin, which is good because my skin has become more sensitive lately. I’ve also noticed my blackheads on my nose and forehead have diminished and pores look smaller. I will happily repurchase once I run out since it is fairly affordable.

I wish the packaging was a little bit better like having an easier lid in between the actual balm and spatula compartment. But I can easily overlook this for the quality of the product

This is such a great balm cleanser to remove all dirt, makeup, and sunscreen. It’s thick and emolient so just gently massaging your face will break down all your makeup easily. I love that it has no scent so nothing irritates my skin. Even when I go ham on my eyes to remove waterproof makeup, I don’t experience any stinging or foggy eyes. For such a good price, this is easily my holy grail balm cleanser.

Bottle is a little small but I don’t mind at all!

I have dark spots that haven’t been fading even though I’ve been on retinol. I finally felt comfortable enough to introduce more actives into my routine even though I’m still regularly using retinol. 

The Numbuzin Vitamin Concreated Serum is a lightweight serum formulated with lots of great ingredients to fade dark spots and keep blemishes away.

I’ve been using 2-3 drops about 3x a week in my morning routine for the past 2 weeks and have noticed a significant change in my skin. My dark spots have quickly faded within a week of usage.
It also leaves a beautiful glow to the skin, which I definitely need as my skin has been pretty dry due to retinol. 

I can imagine this being too much for my skin in the summer time.

I was eager to try this since I heard all about the hype and luckily my Sephora still has the previous version before they started selling the newer reformulated version which I hear isn’t as great. This is a great moisturizing toner for the winter time for my dehydrated combination skin. My previous cleanser would make my skin feel slightly stripped but this toner helped out with that. I even put some in a mist bottle to spritz on my face during the day if I felt dry (I hear the Cream Skin Mist is the same formulation just in a spray bottle so that’s a good hack).
