I don’t use a cleanser when washing my face in the morning. So when I wash it with water I notice that sometimes it feels like the products I’ve used the night before haven’t fully absorbed in because I can feel it getting washed off. Is that it? Or am I imaging it? Is it dependent on the product? My last step alternates between a moisturiser or a face oil. And I’ve noticed with the face oil I don’t feel like I’m washing anything off my face in the morning but with the moisturiser, I feel like I’m washing a film off. I’m wondering if this means my moisturiser isn’t getting absorbed? Should I find another one? Or does this mean nothing at all? 🤷‍♀️

That feeling when washing your face in the morning

I’m in my mid 30s with a pretty consistent skin care routine that I’m happy with. Just recently I’ve noticed all these wrinkles on my hands 😱 I don’t do anything for my hands, when I apply sunscreen to my body I put some on my hands, some nights when it feels dry I use a moisturiser. What does everyone else do for their hands? I can’t stop looking at my wrinkley hands and thinking about how much I’ve neglected them.

I’m wondering if I do my full AM routine, how long does it take for it to be fully absorbed before I can have a mid day shower without feeling guilty I might have washed everything off? Like if I did a lunch time gym session, did I waste all the products I put on my face in the morning?

How long does it take for products to be fully absorbed?

I’m struggling with my current shu uemura lash curler, where my lashes have gotten too long to fit into the curler (I know; tiny violin). And I’m wondering if the solution is the s curler to get in there and curl the spots that need the extra curl. Has anyone tried and what are your thoughts?

I have read the curler is tiny and is difficult to use due to its size.

Has anyone tried an S curler for lashes by shu uemura?

What do people bring with them on holidays? I’m heading to Vietnam for three weeks, and I won’t be bringing all my items. But what are the essentials that you bring with you? I’ve got sunscreen, cleanser and moisturiser, anything else?

Holiday skincare packing

Takes a while to notice the difference. Can be disheartening and hard to use it consistantly. But keep at it.

I first started using this in may and I wasnt using it consistantly. Its been a while I forgot what this product was meant to do for me. But Ive started to be more consistant in my application once every two days in the past month and Ive noticed some changes. Yes my skin is more hydrated (It is winter now) and lines seemed to have smoothed out. It wasnt over night, but I can see a change. I know i should be more consistant and it does take time for the effects to show. Im almost done with the bottle but I will buy it again. 

Product is a bit sticky at first but absorbs quickly.

Ive got combo&#47;oily skin. Prob not the best for my skin type. And not sure how good it is at cleaning.

Very gentle. Leaves your skin feeling moisturised.

Its a thick layer that you end up putting on. If you keep it in your pocket and your body warms it, it can be too soft. But nothing bad really.

My husband original bought this from 7&#47;11 because we were out and he needed lipbalm. And Ive got a box full of lipbalms, and I would always try to steal his. Its so moisturing and thick. But not sticky. It will sink in and leave youe lips soft and you dont think about dry lips again. I love it! Also spf 50! So hard to find that in lip balm to begin with and its with my favourite one.

The product foams and peels. I reduced the amount used to make it work for me. I also experienced dry flakey skin (thats new for me, i normally have oily combo skin).

I must have been living under a rock because Ive only just heard of this product. I used it for 3 weeks in a humid climate and maybe the sebum control was too much. Because my skin was dry and flakey. I reduced the amount and dont use it as often now. Its ok. I havent seen results that have blown me away yet.

Does a really good job of a cleanse. Without feeling like it has stripped away the oils on my skin. There is no tightness in my skin at all. Really gentle cleanser i keep buying
