Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream

This cream contains 0.03% Retinal (a form of Retinoid that acts on the skin faster than retinol) and 1% Bakuchiol (a plant-based retinol), a natural substitute for retinol that can aid in reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and other aging indications on the skin. This product contains no artificial coloring, however the main ingredient retinal is what makes it yellow color.

My experiences with the product

1.  Retinol and Retinal are types of vitamin A that degrade when exposed to air because they are unstable. For this reason, I appreciate that the product is packaged in an airless pump container; it looks really durable, and I am confident that the product's quality won't suffer. The type of pump it has also allows me to regulate the amount of product I get.

2. I was able to use the product for a whole month since the shipping is super fast through Shopee check-out. 👍👍👍

3.Since it still contains a retinoid, I initially considered using it only every other day. However, after using it once, I decided that my skin could handle it because there were no signs of irritation and it felt very light on the skin, so I used it exclusively for my nighttime routine for two weeks straight. After 2 weeks, I tried using it with my usual skincare routine, and it worked amazingly. (Take note that exfoliants and actives like Vitamin C shouldn't be used together with retinoids.)

4. I started using the product last May 19, 2023, and I see visible results on my skin. My nose and chin have textures due to clogged pores, and now I see fewer blackheads on this part of my face. I have dry skin, so I am prone to fine lines when my skin is not moisturized and hydrated enough, but now I see fewer fine lines on my forehead and my under eyes. 

Overall, this product is amazing and beginner-friendly for people who want to start incorporating anti-aging products into their skincare routine. Thank you so much, Picky and By Wishtrend, for this amazing product.

Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Cream

Licorice root water and licorice root extract are this serum's main ingredients, which help to brighten and hydrate my skin. It also aids in lightening dark spots on my forehead and chin. Another ingredient that makes this serum top-tier is Niacinamide, which helps with oil control and minimizes the appearance of my pores. Niacinamide is one of my go-to ingredients in my skincare, and since this product has niacinamide, I don't need another product to get the effects. Overall, I can use fewer products with this serum and still achieve the results I want for my skin.

Acwell Licorice pH Balancing and Advance Serum 🌸

I received this product for free from Picky and INGA in exchange for my honest review. 

This lip and cheek gloss comes in 4 shades, and the shade that I received was chili red. This helps to keep my lips hydrated and protected, so I used it as the final step in my nighttime routine as lip therapy because my lips crack easily after applying layers of lip product throughout the day. In order to help keep my lips from drying out and cracking, I also use it as a base before applying lipstick. 

This feels greasy and heavy on the cheeks, making me seem oily even though I have dry skin. I really enjoy it for my lips, but not for my cheeks because of how sheer the color payoff is. Additionally, it highlights the texture on my cheeks and area near my nose. I tried using it again with powder to reduce the greasiness, but the pigment was gone.

Water Freeze Lip & Cheek 🌶

Hello everyone! I'm posting today to share my thoughts on these products that I received for free from Picky and L'essential in exchange for my honest review. 

Skin type: Normal to Dry


1. L'essential Zero Cleanser

This cleanser is formulated with Guaiazulene that works to soothe irritated skin. I like this product because it is mild and it doesn't strip off the natural moisture on my skin and is perfect for everyday use! My skin feels clean and refresh after every use. 


2. L'essential First Toner

This toner contains 130,000ppm of Chamaecyparis Obtuse water that helps in moisturizing and soothing the skin. I like this product because it is easily absorbed on the skin and gives off a well-hydrated and moisturized look on my skin.


3. L'essential Double Serum

This serum contains 7 types of peptides and TECA ingredients that help in protecting skin barriers against free radicals. My skin is dull most of the time but using this product prevents my skin from looking dull. 🥰 


4. L'essential Triple Cream

This cream is formulated with Dual Crystal Glacial Water capsule, Guaiazulene and Madecassoside, these ingredients help in providing burst of hydration and moisture on the skin. This is my favorite for this skincare line since it is a gel-based moisturizer it doesn't feel heavy and tacky and it is easily absorbed on my skin.


Overall, I'm happy trying out these products.

L'ESSENTIAL AZULENE SOOTHING KIT

I'm posting today to share my thoughts on this product that I received for free from Picky and Elmt in exchange for my honest review. 

This is my first time using a 20% Vitamin C Serum, so I was a bit skeptical since it has a higher percentage than what I usually use.

I was able to test the product for about a month, from December 3–31, 2023, and was able to see the product's performance because the shipping was really fast and easy with @shopee_ph check-out.

I tested this serum on my hands and neck before using it on my face, and my impression of the product is that this serum has a thick consistency for a serum; it's more of a light moisturizer, in my opinion. I was pleased with the product's performance for a 20% Vitamin C because it did not burn or irritate my skin, even if it felt a little warm on my face for a few seconds.

This product really helps fade my dark spots on my chin and forehead. It also protects my skin from dullness since I have dry and dull skin.

Overall, this product is enough if you want a simple skincare routine since I only use it for my morning routine and pair it with sunscreen.

ELMT Pure Vitamin C 20% Element Serum

I dont have any bad experience to this product

This product is super moisturizing if you are a person that likes a quite heavy moisturizer it is perfect you though it feels heavy at first it will quicky absorbed on your skin so its fine for me

This product is super nice when you want extra moisture, and hydration.

I don't have any bad experience with any product from dear, klairs so far

This product is a holy grail when my skin is kind a damaged or irritated this really helps my skin to soothe the problem. I used this as a moisturizer in my daytime routine but when I'm being extra I used it too in my night routine.

This product is quite small for its price but overall it is a nice product

I really like this product it easily absorbed to my skin. I combined it with other rice line of skincare of I'm from.

My face feels a little bit sticky and it looks shiny.
