The internet is both a great resource and a hard one to navigate. I’ve scoured the answer to this question and there’s nothing concrete that I can find about it. 

Can/do you exfoliate while using tretinoin?
- If yes, what products, how do you incorporate, how often, etc.? Tell me everything! 
- If no, did you have a bad experience or why shouldn’t someone?

Tretinoin + Exfoliating

- the pump style isn’t my favorite; a dropper would be more ideal (for me!)

- texture 
- did not break out my acne prone skin 
- did not cause irritation or redness
- my skin looks AMAZING 
- the coolness from the refridgeration 
- a little goes a long way! 

This is my absolute holy grail and i will buy this again and again. 

Nothing “bad” necessarily but no improvement on lines or my acne. It was just a good first step into using it.  

This was my first retinol product. 
It was really gentle on my sensitive skin- did not give any redness, itchy feeling, or burning. 
Lightweight and absorbed quickly with no intense smells. In the morning my face felt brighter and smoother. 
It’s a great way to begin incorporating retinol into your routine! 

It can feel a little greasy for like ten minutes and does leave your face with the glowy look. 
And it is not waterproof. The second your face comes into contact with water - like rain - it just drips off. 

Will keep buying but will find one for pool/beach days!

Combination/resilient/acne prone. Mature skin (35). 
Does not leave a white cast, a little goes a long way, decently priced. I’ve been using this for a while and have very pale skin that easily burns and happy to report not a single sunburn yet! 

- it takes a bit to absorb but doesn’t almost everything :)

- how incredible my skin looks (hydrated, firm, soft!!)
- a little goes a long, long way
- no fragrance
- there has been a definite improvement in the firmness of my middle aged skin and i am OBSESSED.
- i like the packaging (dropper, clear glass) 

This has quickly become an absolute staple in my routine 

- likely not the best for oily skin types 
- the price isnt terrible but it’s not great 

- the texture is so creamy yet not overwhelmingly heavy/sticky (i dont stick to my silk pillowcase) 
- waking up to such soft, hydrated, happy skin 
- less red in the mornings 
- did not break me out or clog my pores (acne prone!)
- a definite cooling sensation upon application
