Has anyone tried this yet? I’ve seen that it’s worked wonders for some people and others have said that it broke them out bad. I want to try it for my breakouts and to help fade scars. Is this too much of a risk for me?

Hey ! So I’ve been badly broken out on both of my thighs for about a week now. I don’t know what’s caused it and such, it just came out of nowhere. It’s very painful and I’m not sure what to do. Would this be something the doctor would handle or the dermatologist?

Painful Breakout On Thigh

Hi :) I’m 16 with hormonal acne, I get the worst of it on my chin area especially. I’ve never had a smooth or clear chin. I wanted to know if double cleansing could help with this issue,
especially since I wear makeup and sunscreen. What are products or actives that I should be using to help with my constant breakouts on my chin? I also get multiple white heads at times. 
My Routine is:
La Roche Posay Gentle Cleanser
Sulfacetamjde Sod 10% (prescribed by derm)
CeraVe Moisturizer 
Wenlevi for chin area (prescribed by derm)

Chin Acne

my derm gave me these pills like a month ago and i haven’t taken not one. the reason why is because i’m scared to take them because i feel like it’s gonna make my skin worse and i don’t want that. deep down i feel like he’s not actually helping and i expressed this to my mom but she claimed he’s the best dermatologist around us and that he knows what he’s doing. my acne is only really bad on my chin and sometimes my cheeks, i just want my chin cleared more than anything. we’ve tried a lot of things and this is kinda like a last resort. my mom said no to accutane and stuff. i might give in and just start to take them because i want to see actual change with my skin, i feel like i’ve been stuck in the same place with it since freshman year. should i just trust it and give them a shot? i’m just scared for my skin.

New Pills From My Derm

My derm currently has only prescribed me 3 things. That is my doxycycline pill, sulfacetamide topical solution that I only use in the mornings, and then tret at night. I always thought that those products alone can’t clear my skin, and that I was missing things in between like moisturizer and spf, obviously. But, if I only did use those 3 products, would I be alright? Should I stop using things he doesn’t prescribe me?
