However, I was not impressed with its ability to remove my mascara and eyeliner, neither of which is waterproof. It removed it after a lot of rubbing but there was still some mascara left on my eyelashes.

I love that this product can easily be used with reusable cotton rounds, is affordable, and doesn't contain parabens or fragrance. I don't like that it can't remove my mascara, however, so I will not be repurchasing this once I use it all up. I am looking into their waterproof makeup remover micellar water and might use that one instead.

I was reading this article about how some people shouldn't wash their face with soap in the morning. If you have a dry or normal skin type, it can be beneficial to skip the morning sudsing, using a toner/cleanser instead, and then washing with soap in the evening before bed. I was already using a toner but a lot of people recommended micellar water. Garnier had a 3.4 ounce bottle for under $5 so I decided to give it a try. I started just rinsing my face in the am and then using this Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water afterwards. I put some on a cotton pad and gently wiped around my entire face, including my neck. It didn't dry out my skin or cause any other sensitivity. I would then apply my face lotion before putting on any makeup, which only consists of face powder and some mascara. After a little over a week of doing this, my skin looks brighter and is softer than before. The micellar water seems to be more moisturizing than my regular toner and it leaves my skin looking and feeling just as clean as if I had washed it with soap and water. I won't hesitate to buy this again.

i LOVE this product. i have around 10 products from the ordinary that i rotate through, and this is a must. i struggle with terrible blackheads on my nose and chin, and this is the only thing that could clear them up. it took about 3-4 weeks to see a result, but since then i have repurchased time and time again. if you struggle with blackheads this is a definite yes!!

I’ve been watching grwm videos and Katie fang uses this toner. I bought the mini version bc I’m freaking broke and can’t afford a full one. I knew it was small but I didn’t think it would be THAT small. Smells more like watermelon rind than the actual watermelon itself but it’s fine. Rlly helps me live out my pink Pilates coquette Pinterest skincare girly dreams! I might get the full size version for my birthday! I do recommend

I’ve tried so many different products to get rid of my blackheads and really textured skin, nothing worked to my expectations. I decided to splurge on this exfoliant, since it’s pricey for such a small bottle. I read the reviews and almost everyone was saying it smells bad, maybe I got lucky because mine didn’t smell. I followed the directions, used my regular face wash then put a few dabs of the exfoliant on a cotton ball. I made the mistake of using too much the first couple times, as it took forever to soak into my skin and felt extremely sticky. A little goes a long ways! This product works immediately, I saw results in just a few days, using in morning and night. For the morning after the exfoliant I use my ultra light la roche posay sunscreen and the night I don’t add my sunscreen. I’ll also add, I have oily skin and the exfoliant makes me look more oily. But never breaks me out.

I have noticed that this product tends to ball off (roll off / peel off) etc. In general, such a thing happens either because the previous cream/serum has not sunk in properly, or because we are applying too much product. It is probably the latter, so I am going to try and use lesser product to see if this fixes it. I haven't seen this problem with my previous Olay 3-point treatment cream when applied over the same serum so I suspect it is a problem with this cream. I have taken one star off for this reason.

I could see a visible difference the very first time I applied this product. I suppose it has Titanium Dioxide, Mica etc which give a radiant look (which is purely cosmetic, I think). The skin looks bright and radiant, and it actually looks as though the radiance is from within and not due to some topical product. Impressed.

With respect to the after effects, I did see evening out of the skin tone and overall brightness after just one use. Olay is not exaggerating their claims, seriously. I am using a Super Facialist Vitamin C capsules on alternate nights but this radiant / brightening effect I saw after the first use was not due to that serum (as I had gone without the serum for a few days). I hadn't introduced anything else new into my skin care routine either.

It has only been a few days since I started using this moisturizer but I am already sold on this. I am using it morning and night over my serum and I am very pleased thus far with the results. I can see a clear and obvious evening out of the skin tone. I will probably update this review after a few weeks.
