This was TOO gentle for me. It will take a few months to see results. This would be perfect for those with sensitive skin though.

Texture &#47; Consistency - lightweight, transparent, almost watery but there&#39;s a tad texture of oil, no scent detected

🔸 Experience - After trying out glycolic and lactic acids from The Ordinary, I bought the Mandelic to see which AHA would make the most difference to my skin. I applied this after cleansing every other night as this was said to be a gentler formula due to the bigger molecular size. I usually wait after 10-20 mins before I apply another product and I felt that the next product seem to be more well-absorbed after using this. The morning after, my skin feels soft. After finishing the bottle, I can see a healthy glow on my skin. It definitely feels smoother and may have aided with fading pimple marks from my &quot;monthly visitor.&quot;

I feel like I bought this at the wrong time or maybe my skin is just incompatible with it. 

I tend to extend the application of my skincare products down to my neck and I experienced irritation on my neck from using this product. Because of that, I only use it on my face and don&#39;t use it regularly but more of like a first aid treatment when I&#39;m breaking out or have over-exfoliated. But then, I don&#39;t think it has helped at all. I&#39;m not sure if the formula is just too strong for me? My skin is not usually reactive when trying out new products. I have used this once as a daytime moisturizer and when I wore my face mask, the scent was trapped within the mask and it was just nauseating 😂

🟢 Repurchase? No, I&#39;ll stick to my trusty Physiogel Cream for skin barrier repair.

🟢 Texture &#47; Consistency - a beautiful pale green fluid that feels like a lightweight cream but when applied on my skin, it does feel heavy.

Although it says it&#39;s a 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯 𝘣𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘶𝘮, it actually feels like a light cream. Texture-wise, I feel like this product has achieved my dream fluidity in a moisturizer or cream.

None but not recommended for oily skin types as it might be too heavy.

This is my life saver when I get contact dermatitis and eczema flare-ups.

Several years ago, I had a very big dry patch on my arm and the doctor recommended this cream. Constant use of this helped the dry patch disappear and I have been loyal ever since. I always keep a tube of this on hand because I do get dry, irritated skin now and then due to the air-conditioned office or trying out skincare or makeup products. When my skin barrier is compromised, I go back to a minimalist routine with this as moisturizer.

It is also a great addition to your first aid kit to relieve and soothe itching (Physiogel also has the A.I. line for irritated skin but it is more expensive).
