Hello! I have dry skin (sometimes combination when I go out in the sun). I'm currently using Rovectin Cleanser but my face seems to be super tight 5mins after washing it. I have used Dr.G RED blemish facial foam as well as Axis-Y Quinoa Foaming Cleanser (which I don't like it because of the strong smell). Can you guys recommend any moisturizing cleanser that doesn't feel tight for dry skin? Thank you!!

Hello I’m good with fermented ingredients, I’m thinking to buy Neogen Micro Serum vs Numbuzin No.3 serum

Neogen has 30ml and more more expensive than numbuzin in my country but I use neogen real ferment micro essence so will the serum+essence effect be better… 

Please give me some advice which one has more brightening/ skin barrier improvement overall.

But I prefer something not heavy since I have oily skin.

Sunscreen recommendation for humid weather?

Hi guys I have been spending the whole Christmas day just to decide whether to buy Be Plain Cicaful ampoule (There is a Christmas set sale in my country which includes Foam(Full size) + ampoule 30ml + 2 masks + cleansing oil (travel size) which is a deal.

 On the other hand, the one that I’m eyeing for - Anua Heartleaf 80% ampoule is on sale too.

My condition : I have my pimples extracted by a professional and now on the healing phase. I want to have something soothing and hydrating and both products seem to be like it. I’m Acne-prone / dry skin due to the weather. 

I have read so many reviews but I want to know more do please help me. ^*^

Hi Picky family! As I’m a very picky person (hence, I love picky😄), I want to find moisturizer for dry skin that comes with the jar form. Now, I’m using RoundLab Dokdo Cream which is quite thick and comes in the jar. I have dry/sensitive skin but there has been no breakout with Dokdo cream so far after using it for 3 months. However, I feel bored using it day and night so I’d like to change to other similar texture that is preferably jar type since I don’t like the tube packaging because I need to squeeze hard to get the remaining amount and sometimes there’s air inside it which kinda annoys me. 
Kindly suggest me any cream that has similar texture to Dokdo one and preferably jar type ones.

JAR TYPE/DRY SKIN MOISTURIZER

Nothing! It was okay. This product is new (it’s only been weeks). I received it as a sample so the long term results might not be achieved. 

Not super lightweight but good for night time skincare routine! It’s occlusive. When it you apply it, it feels heavy but on your skin, you don’t feel heavy at all. Make sure you use  enough amount. It doesn’t have any scent at all. It has ceramides in it so it’s good for your skin barrier. 

As the name suggested, I wanted it to be more viscous but its viscosity is just like a hydrating toner, not too thick but similar to water,but not exactly like water-like viscosity. But that’s the preference of mine.

I’ll write short to the point. There is no scent. Hydrates enough (needs to layer more for dry skin). Not viscous even though it’s labelled as “ampoule toner”. Contains Lactobionic acid to exfoliate gently. Contains bifida which is good for improving the skin barrier. 

My experience of using it - more than 1 month: I was suffering from break-outs using alcohol based aloe vera gel at a salon. So, I needed to stop using all skin care and went to dermatologist. After extracting all of the bumps and zits on my face, I decided to use it again. I used it almost every night (I don’t use toner in the morning) with the ampoules/serums ( you can see other reviews on my profile) and after 2 weeks, my skin becomes soft again. I don’t think this result is solely from the toner. It might contribute synergism to other products in my routine. No serious breakouts happened during the usage until now.  I bought it by myself after reading many comments here on Picky, Amazon & my local community. It’s around 22$ for 300ml.

Nothing for now, super oily skins or acne-prone oily skins will not enjoy it (based on my experience ) because I hated it once. Dry/Combo/Normal skins should purchase it. 

It contains propolis extract and honey extract. All ingredients are suitable for sensitive skin ( except for people who have honey/propolis allergy). I used this toner about two years ago, that time I didn’t like the texture because I had oily skin and had break-outs. But now it’s winter and because of the usage of prescription topical lotions, my skin becomes dry so I bought the mini version again and it was perfect for my skin. No additional layers needed and it was super hydrating. No wonder it’s popular! No breakouts during the usage. 

- Beads need a little pressure to dissolve them
- Those beads leaves white powdery/liquidy while applying /patting  too much
- One layer is not hydrating enough for my dry skin 

But literally no bad thing, actually.

Overall Experience 

I like it, I’ll update with my real hyperpigmentation progress in this post since my mom told me the scars have improved a lot. And I also feel like my face has brightened a bit (like clearer than before) since this is my first time using tranexamic acid and vitamin c derivative. 

There is no breakout either. I didn’t see any soothing effect solely from this but when I combine with Anua 80% Heartleaf ampoule, the redness after cleansing stage or the small pimple has significantly reduced.

-Expensive because it’s laneige. :) 
- Oily skins can use it, but just a small amount.(depending on how much your skin needs)
-  Didn’t see any calming effects. 
- I live in a humid country, but this is fine. Just buy it!!! 

Contains a type of green-tea leaf water. (Camelia Sinesis). And it’s SUPER MOISTURIZING. 

As a lazy person, this is a saviour for me. Even before using drying topical lotions, even when my skin was oily, it didn’t cause large breakouts. One layer is enough for the whole night. Day usage is not recommend for oily skins. The viscosity is just chef’s kiss. But don’t over-pour it because it’ll make your skin super glossy and too much is not suitable for oily skin. I use it only with my hands, keep it in the fridge and it is cool when you put it on your face. It just melts instantly when the toner meets the warmth of your hands.
