The purging stage, but this retinol serum are hydrating, the formulation is good

2.5% considered high percentage for beginner, but this is my first retinol,  the purging I experience is not bad as I really moisturizer my skin . My skin glow after 3-4 week of usage,  I use it once per week, then twice per week,  3x per week, and daily use.

I&#39;ve read a lot of good review about azelaic acid,  so decide to try this one cuz I&#39;ve been using few product from CDB,  it&#39;s doesn&#39;t irritate my skin,  I use it 2 times a day, as I can&#39;t use retinol due to pregnancy,  this is a safe and great alternative to tackle the incoming acne&#47;melasma&#47;pigmentation .

This is a good Bha but I can&#39;t handle the purging, it worse than using retinol.  I&#39;ve use this 3 day straight when I experience sudden hormonal acne&#47;or due to traveling,  this toner helps rid those crazy acne

Hydrating yet doesn&#39;t feel heavy,  good for layering,  helps prep skin for treatment

Hydrating essence,  sometimes can be use instead of moisturizer,  helps calm redness, took a bit time to dry
