One small downside is that the pump can be a little tricky to control, sometimes dispensing more product than needed, but that’s a minor issue.


I’ve been using HaruHaru WONDER’s Black Rice Moisture Deep Cleansing Oil for a couple of weeks now, and I’m impressed with how well it works, especially for my sensitive skin.

The first thing I noticed is how very lightweight the texture is. Unlike some cleansing oils that feel heavy or greasy, this one is incredibly light feeling on the skin. It effectively removes makeup, sunscreen, and daily grime without leaving a residue. Even my waterproof mascara comes off with minimal effort, which is a big plus!

The key ingredient, fermented black rice, really seems to make a difference. My skin feels soft and hydrated after using it, rather than stripped or tight. It’s rare to find a cleanser that leaves my face feeling clean but also nourished. I also appreciate that it only has 9 essential ingredients. 

There is no fragrance and the product is free from artificial dyes and harsh chemicals, making it great for sensitive and breakout prone skin.

Overall, this cleansing oil is definitely something I want to keep using in my skincare routine. It’s gentle, effective, and leaves my skin feeling both clean and moisturized. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cleansing oil that balances effectiveness with a hydrating touch.

I recently tried I’M FROM’s Rice Whip Facial Cleanser, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The texture is luxuriously creamy yet lightweight, making it a delight to apply. A little goes a long way. As it lathers, it transforms into a soft foam that feels gentle on the skin, effectively removing impurities without stripping away moisture.

The inclusion of rice extract is a standout feature, as it leaves my skin feeling nourished and radiant after each use. I appreciate how it balances cleansing with hydration, making it suitable for my sensitive skin.

I don’t detect much of a scent. I am currently obsessed with using this cleanser. The overall experience makes my cleansing routine feel like a mini spa session. I’ve noticed my skin looks brighter and feels smoother since incorporating this cleanser into my regimen. It’s hard to find a  foaming cleanser that doesn’t strip or irritate my dry skin.

It’s a little messy as all clay masks tend to be. 

I love that this mask set comes with 10 individual sealed capsules that are each meant for a single use. It is a clay based mask that is friendly to dry skin because it contains 3 kinds of hyaluronic acid and centella asiatica extract. 

Other ingredients include peptides from Yuma seed, vitamin C, and niacinamide. 

The texture is luxurious and not drying at all and it has a very light citrusy scent. You leave it on for about 10 minutes and then rinse it off.

I don’t typically gravitate towards clay masks because I have dry skin but this one works for me because it never feels too tight. I think it could work for all skin types. 

I have nothing bad to say about this at this time.

The Mixsoon Bean Essence has such an interesting texture! It has a very similar feel to snail mucin but it is completely vegan. It can be used in two ways. First as an exfoliating product when it’s massaged on the skin to remove dead skin cells. Second as an essence that has hydrating and sebum control properties.

Because of the texture it can feel sticky at first but it absorbs quickly. I have dry sensitive skin and it’s rare to find a product that is exfoliating and hydrating at the same time. It seems to actually help my skin barrier unlike most peeling products. 

I like this essence very much for its’s versatility and effectiveness.

When I first heard about the anti-aging ingredient Aquatide I knew I had to try it. It is a patented peptide ingredient that works in a way I have not seen any other skin products claim to do.

Aquatide (also known as Heptasodium hexacarboxymethyl dipeptide-12) has been shown to help skin keep in proper balance by taking old or damaged components of cells and recycling them into nutrients that support skin health and improve texture. This process is called autophagy and it seems that this product has a lot of research behind it. 

This is a watery unscented serum that sinks right into the skin and feels instantly refreshing and hydrating. It can be used as a serum or an overnight mask. 

Other ingredients of note are niacinamide and hyaluronic acid.
