I’ve always struggled with my skin until I started using retinol in combination with the oral birth control pill. Recently I switched to a hormonal IUD and been playing around with adding acids into my routine. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem or suggestions to help it go away. 

In the morning I cleanse, use a toner, vitamin c serum, hydrating serum, moisturizer and sunscreen. At night I do three days of retinol, 2 days of AHAs with lactic acid and glycolic acid and then will try to reset my barrier by slugging or masking depending on what my skin needs. 

Other than that I tend to eat a relatively balanced diet and drink lots of water. Any suggestions are appreciated.

HELP! my skin is a mess!

I don’t think this is great for super dry skin in the winter since I find it doesn’t deeply skin into my skin.

This is a GREAT summer moisturizer. Its nice and light and refreshing. I like how there is no fragerance and its great for sensitive skin.

It is thick and not extremely breathable. I also dislike the tub packaging but it is avalable in a tube form.

This is by FAR my favourite winter moisturizer. Not only does it act like a protective layer from the elements like wind and whatnot but it also is great for sensitive skin. No fragerence and it goes on smooth. It is a good bang for your buck as well.

There is alcohol in this and you can smell it, almost like rubbing alcohol scent.

I love the texture of this sunscreen. It goes on smooth and the finish is a really nice dewy healthy look.

Personally didn’t love the texture, while it was nice and light, I felt it didnt fully absorb into my skin. Good for winter use but not summer.

I just finishes my bottle of this and one great thing is that the bottle is huge. There is a light fragerance but nothing crazy. The consitancy is like a primer, almost thicker and greasy feeling but nothing crazy.

As some mentioned there is a bit of a grainy feeling when first applied which is why I apply with a brush to blend out. It is currently under reformulation so hopeful that will be fixed. It also is too dark for me to wear so I use it as a foundation for makeup. I also find it hard to reapply since it gets hard to blend the more you put on.

I love that this is tinted and the finish is really nice, its very much a nice glowy heathy look. It also doesnt leave my skin feelinh sensitive which I appreciate. It is also relatively “hydrating” since my skin doesnt feel dry when wearing it which is hard to come by when using a mineral sunscreen.
