Help me out Picky fam! 🇩🇴

I have oily/combination skin and I live in Dominican Republic where it’s 90% humidity ALL DAY. 

I started slugging 3x per week with Vaseline Blue Seal and my skin looks SO good in the morning. No flakes, stronger barrier, glass skin vibes.

BUT I’m terrified I’ll clog my pores and break out because of the heat 😭

My routine:
AM: Gentle cleanser + lightweight moisturizer + SPF 50
PM: Cleanser + moisturizer + PEA-SIZE Vaseline only on dry areas (avoiding T-zone)

Oily skin girls who slug in hot/humid climates:
1. How often do you do it? 
2. Any tips to avoid breakouts?
3. Should I stop for summer?

HELP: Slugging in DR humidity with oily skin? 🆘

Hi everyone! I tried the Deliplus Olive Oil Cream from Mercadona on my oily skin.

The texture is thick and it hydrates well, but it stung my face a bit when I applied it. 
It got better after 10 min but I don't think I'll use it daily.

Has anyone else tried it? Did it sting you too?

Cream vs Gel Moisturizer - What’s better for oily skin?

The texture is very thick and greasy, so you can only use it at night. If you use too much it can feel heavy. 
Also the packaging is basic and not travel-friendly.

This is my holy grail for dry lips and cracked heels. It's super thick and occlusive, so it locks in moisture all night. 
For only $3 it lasts forever. I use a tiny amount as the last step in my PM routine to "slug" and I wake up with baby soft skin. 
Doesn't break me out even though my skin is oily/combination.

The scent is a bit strong for sensitive noses, it's the classic NIVEA perfume. 
Also if you have very dry skin, this might not be hydrating enough on its own. 
The jar packaging isn't the most hygienic, I prefer tube packaging.

Can feel heavy if you use too much, especially on oily T-zone. A little goes a very long way. The jar packaging is not the most hygienic since you dip fingers in. Not ideal for daytime use in hot weather because it can look shiny.

Perfect for oily/combination skin doing slugging! 100% pure petroleum jelly with no fragrance or alcohol. Melts into skin and locks in all my moisture overnight. I use a tiny pea-size amount on dry areas and avoid my T-zone. Wake up with glass skin, no flakes, and stronger skin barrier. Did NOT break me out or clog pores. Super versatile: best lip mask, heals cracked heels, removes waterproof makeup. A $2 product that lasts 6 months. Works amazing in Dominican Republic humidity.

Honestly, nothing bad. Maybe the container is small but it lasts months. 
Sometimes it melts if it's too hot, but that's normal for balm. 
I have no complaints.

Pros: Very affordable, not sticky, no smell, works fast. 
It lasts a long time and the packaging is cute and small.

The only bad thing is the jar is small, but it lasts months because you need very little. 
Sometimes hard to find in stores here. 
But I have no real complaints. It's better than regular Vaseline for daily use.

I have been using Vaseline Blue Seal Aloe Fresh for 4 months. 
This is my favorite for dry skin! Pros: Very light texture, not greasy like normal Vaseline. 
The aloe vera helps calm my skin and it absorbs fast. 
I use it on my lips, elbows, and dry patches. The smell is fresh and not strong. 
Perfect for hot weather in Dominican Republic because it's not heavy. 
The small jar lasts a long time and the price is very good. 
My skin feels soft and hydrated. I love it!
