I have been using Caudalie's cleansing oil for a while now and I was happy with it cause it cleansed makeup and sunscreen well. However, when I tried to remove my A'pieu Zinc Mineral Sunscreen, it didn't work. It didn't emulsify with the water and felt like I was putting water on top of a normal oil. Why do you think that happened? Can products lose their ability to emulsify? Or are there ingredients that don't match in the products?

Why didn't the oil cleanser emulsify?

Recently I started a pill because I was having irregular periods and my acne just flared up on my chin/jaw area. I know it's all about hormones but they are all cystic and painful. And I am getting so oily during the day! Due to covid I can't go see a doc right now so do you have any recommendations for the increased oil and hormonal acne? I live in Turkey💜

Increased sebum production and hormonal acne

Texture is so oily and doesn&#39;t really absorb into the skin and you can only use it for 3 months after opening it.

I have used this before and I am currently using my second bottle. I see that it&#39;s not for everyone because of the oily texture but I&#39;ve find some ways to use it. I started using retinoids with this product cause this was the most gentle one and I never experienced any irritation whatsoever. I used it in the winter without anything else. I would wash my face with a gentle cleanser and then I&#39;d use this straight up. I usually use 3 drops cause more than that can be too much. Yes, it doesn&#39;t really absorb -another texture problem from The Ordinary- however I noticed that patting your skin for around 5 minutes help and it seems more absorbed. I used it for 3 months and I&#39;ve seen so much results in my acne that I was so surprised. It really helps with the acne scars, sebum production, brightening, acne, comedones, everything.

It is a bit expensive and I run out of it quickly

this was my first niacinamide serum after I tried and didn&#39;t like The Ordinary&#39;s and I&#39;m IMPRESSED by this. The main reason I didn&#39;t like The Ordinary serum was because it was so tacky and would foam if I wanted to layer, and I didn&#39;t see big results. I even noticed that it would break me out but I think it was the purging. But this one is so hydrating, ZERO tackiness and no problems with layering because it goes on just like a hydrating serum, so repairing and it&#39;s amazing for your pores and sebum. I saw some difference with my acne scars and the healing process of the acne I have. I almost ran out of it but I&#39;ll be repurchising. I recommend it to every skin type but combo and oily skins will see significant results!  10&#47;10 amazing product.

it&#39;s the best micellar water for me. i haven&#39;t really tried much but the ones i tried were either too weak at cleansing or too greasy. this is cleansing my makeup, sunscreen, oil, sweat, dirt etc so well with zero irritation or stinging around my eyes. i will forever repurchase this. i don&#39;t even remember the number of bottles i&#39;ve ran out of.

It is a bit pricey and I sometimes have a hard time removing it with some oil based cleansers.

This is one of my favorite sunscreen for some reasons. I find it quite thin for a mineral sunscreen because I&#39;ve seen some chemical ones that are thicker than this one. But this one goes on just like a cream. It leaves a little whitecast but I didn&#39;t have much of a problem because I have quite fair skin but it can be a problem for darker skin tones. I&#39;d recommend it for fair and oiler skins that want to try mineral sunscreen because it mattifies and leaves a velvet matte finish without drying my skin too much which I really like cause I hate when sunscreens feel heavy and greasy on my skin.

Doesn&#39;t hydrate well, can be irritating if used everyday, has fragrance in it

This was the first salicylic acid product I used. I later found out that it had AHAs and Bakuchiol in it as well, that was surprising. This is my second or third tube and I really like it. It helps with the whiteheads, blackheads, active acne and acne scars. Back in quarantine this was the only product I was using only with a niacinamide moisturizer and my skin was at the best stage of it. I love it for oily&#47;combo skin.
