Hey pickies! I've been trying to get a neat looking nose but it always produces a lot of white heads even I use nose strip once or twice a week.

Any recommendations (product or ingredients) to reduce the build up of whiteheads?

Who among you use spot treatment for acne?

Currently, I'm using Some By Mi's super miracle spot all kill cream. Its main ingredients are AHA, BHA, and PHA, good for oily and dry skin. I also tried Onsaemeein magic solution skin powder and Dewy Tree's clean Lab AC Dew Calamine Blemish Spot. All of them are effective to cure my acne and even lighten my acne scar.

And, I also want to ask for your recommendation about spot treatment of Kate Somerville especially those who tried it. Coz its sale now on sephora!! 😉

Spot Treatment! ✨

It is not bad at all but I notice that it will give a lil bit of dryness feeling after you wash your face because its deep cleansing. Just moisturize your skin after using the product :) 

This is the first time I include tocobo products in my skin care routine. Right now, I am using tocobo coconut clay cleansing foam and cotton soft sun stick sunscreen which I really really like! Will post soon a review about their sunscreen!

So here's my quick honest review about the product :)

Packaging/Appearance: The product is in a plastic container and its easy to open. The packaging has minimalist style which I deem fits to the simplicity but classy theme of the brand.

Texture and Smell: The cleanser is not watery, its thick but not too thick. Its easy to spread in your palms/skin because its also smooth. It has no beads which is perfectly fine with my skin type and its not irritable. This is perfect for everyday use. Moreover, the cleanser has fruity and sweet (but not so sweet) scent that adds up in the calm and relaxation feels when you use this cleanser. 

Personal Experience: The first time I used this is when I double cleanse my face. Well, I always double cleanse my face esp when I wear make up and suncreen. I used Dear Klairs Deep Black Cleansing Oil first and then tocobo cleansing foam. The product is so smooth, and if you put a bit of water in your hands it becomes smoother. Its kinda foamy when you rub it on your face and you will really feel that its doing its job - deep cleansing. I washed and massaged my face for about a minute or two before I rinse it. While rinsing my skin, I really feel that my face is so clean and smooth. After I washed my face, I can feel the cleanliness, smooth but a little bit of dryness of my skin so its really perfect for my skin type. Right now, I've been using this cleanser for about a month and has no negative effect on my skin. For those who have oily and acne prone skin like me, or normal skin, you must try it! 

As of the moment, I haven't experience negative reaction. So it's a must try :) 

Face republic Hydro Boost Solution Serum
Packaging: The serum is contained in a transluscent crystal-like glass to perceive the ampoule clearly inside the container. It also comes with a dropper that can be easily pump in to absorb the product. The packaging illuminates light blue that highlights classy and aesthetic look of the product.

Texture & Scent: It is a gel type serum that gives clear and jelly texture. In this characteristics, the product seems swiftly absorbs by the skin. The product smells no particular scent. Hence, it gives a natural vibe when you apply it on the skin.

Personal Experience. I've been using the face republic ampoule for 3 weeks before I write this feedback. I apply it in the evening in the first 3 days, to introduce the product on my skin gradually. Then, on the fourth day, I use the serum as part of my morning routine too. Since my skin emits a plenty of oil, it really needs hydration more so this product is a must on my routine. The first time I apply it on my skin, it gives a soufle like texture on my face that leaves fresh and hydrating feeling. Its not sticky and it gets easily absorb by my skin too. Weeks after I use this product, I can say that this really hydrate my skin to the point it can lessen the oil on my face and freshen up my skin.



This oil is a great choice for oily skin but, I think, not for dry skin.

I wish it has larger size!

This is the lightest oil I&#39;ve ever used. It&#39;s part of my AM daily routine, before I put sunscreen on my skin. It seals hydration, super lightweight, and won&#39;t clog my pores! 
Another best reason to pick this oil, is that its not just good for the skin but also in hair. My hair is chemically treated so its dry and squalane helps me to nourish my hair and bring it back to life. 

And if you have oily skin like me, this is an awesome option, highly recommended ❤️

Recommendation: Enhance the ability of the dropper to suck the product from the bottle. It always took me 3 to more times pinching the dropper to get the ampoule.

For the effectiveness of the ampoule, you really have to be observant on your skin to see the difference before and after using the product. You can't see the improvement right away like any other skin care products. So, honestly, I can't say anything wrong about the effectiveness of this product. In the time frame that I've been using this ampoule, I never experienced chemical reaction, purging, and anything alike, its really kind on the skin. 


✨Smell and Texture: What I really love the most about Commonlabs Vitamin E Calming Ampoule, aside from its ability to soothe my skin, its fresh smell that really gives an aromatic refreshing and relaxing mood. This ampoule really smells like nature. Its lightweight like slightly runny and gel type of ampoule. I can really tell that this ampoule is perfect for oily skin like me because when you apply it, you will not feel greasy or sticky at all which I personally love for I dont like products that gives you a sticky feeling.

✨Packaging: The ampoule comes in a dark green bottle and a dropper with black handle that makes it classy and aesthetic. 

✨Ingredients: It has Vitamin E and Tea trea leaf extract that helps to protect the skin against free radicals. Another interesting thing about this product is it has Gesolza and Madecassoside. This is the first skin care product I used with these ingredients and I can really say that these ingredients amazed me for it really do its job in my skin - to nourish, soothe, and calm the impurities on my skin.  

✨Personal Experience:
I used this product 3 weeks before I write this review to see the efficiency of the ampoule on my skin. I have an oily skin which results to high sensitivity in skin care products that's why I always carefully choose my routine. Surprisingly, this product suits my skin. I use this daily, in the morning and in the evening after the toner and before moisturizer. I stopped using active ingredients for a while to perceive its effectiveness on my skin. After weeks that I've been using this, I can really tell that this product do its job perfectly. The changes in my skin from dull to brighter and hydrated skin was really evident. The acne marks are slowly calming and its really refreshing on the skin. 


I highly recommend this product!

It oxidize quickly, and I think it&#39;s normal in a vit c product. The only negative thing about this product is when you apply it directly on the skin you will really feel the burning&#47;tingling sensation. So to prevent this, I apply toner and niacinamide first before vit c.

I&#39;ve been using this for 2 months, and my skin improvement is really great! I&#39;m using it as spot treatment for my acne and acne scars. It really helps to lighten my scars and brighten my skin. I use it after applying TO niacinamide to lessen (or cancel out) the tingling sensation (esp if you have sensitive skin like mine).

For me, TO niacinamide and TO vit c is a perfect combo!
