What defines and qualifies a product or ingredient as "Barrier Repairing"?  

What products have worked best for you for healing a damaged skin barrier? 

What in your skin care routine did not work or made things worse? 

I would like to learn more about products and techniques to help heal / repair my skin barrier and look forward to reading everyone's recommendations

I'm still debating if I should get it or keep saving up for what is actually on my skin care wishlist!

I recently learned about HSPs as an ingredient in skincare products and would like to find out more info please. 
I don't understand how it works or much at all, and I'm not really finding anything helpful or informative online.

Does anyone have any experience with HSPs or products containing them?

There is a product by Dr.Base called " Multi Action Barrier Serum - HSP activator "
The main ingredient is Peony 

On the package it states that the "serum simulates the effects of laser therapy by promoting collagen regeneration and neogenesis"
Is this too good to be true?

Heat Shock Proteins (HSP) in skincare...Peony?

In what order do you apply your morning and evening products, and how long to you wait in between applications?

 For example if you have an oil such as Rosehip Oil , an ampoule, more than one serum, lotion , cream , Pimple treatment product such as salicylic acid and differin , product with aha/bha, or glycolic acid, retinol , and/of niacinamide , dark spot lightening wand , sunscreen etc etc - 
Which products would you use in the morning and which at night?

 Also what order would you later them in and how long do you wait in between product applications?

 If you don't wait for a product to dry /absorb before applying next product, could that make them ineffective? 

Are there any products you would not layer together or use/mix in the same routine?

I just bought this for $10!! It usually is sold for $24 on Amazon but they have it on sale for $12!!! $10 for the subscribe option. 

I haven't tried this COSRX moisturizer yet but I'm hopeful and excited. 

Has anyone else tried this yet? What are your thoughts on this product?

I have only recently started using this product. It is my first experience with propolis as a topical skin care product.

The formulas consistency is slightly thick and viscous but it feels light weight after application. I like that It doesn't feel heavy or oily on face. I found it spreads and absorbed well. I found that following it with moisturizer works nicely.

So far I have had a good experience with this product. It doesn't irritate my skin and is supposed to be soothing and help reduce redness & inflammation 

I appreciate the high concentration of propolis and the short ingredient list 

I have not been using this product long enough to notice what impact or benefits it offers. 
(I am also not entirely sure when in my skincare routine to apply this ampoule)

The matte like effect might not be fit everyone 

I love how pigmented these are and the variety of shades they offer. I found these to have a silky-velvety texture which blended and absorbed really well, the consistency was good not to watery, oily cakey or creamy or thick. 
I really appreciated that the formula was not drying. Much less drying than other brands I've experienced. The color lasted a long time and It didn't peel or do anything weird. 
I found this brand at CVS years ago and the product stays fresh and keeps quality for a long time. 

Potentially irritating ingredients. 
Added Perfumes and Fragrance is strong and not necessary 
Excessive amount of plant extracts 
Small amount of product, labelled as 50ml 

I found this cream to absorb, hydrate and moisturize really well .
The cream comes in a shallow jar with a twist off cover/lid and does not include a spatula.

The product feels luxurious, nourishing, and although it is thick it is silky and blendable. 
The consistency is very rich, creamy but not oily, greasy or sticky. It glides on and absorbs very well.
My skin feels soft, supple and plump from this.

 I use the cream at night because it's of its slight heaviness and in the morning my skin still feels smooth, soft and hydrated. 

This product does have added fragrance/perfume, which gives it a noticeably semi-strong feminine scent.
 
Although this cream claims it's non-irritating and good for sensitive skin, some of the ingredient may contradict this and cause irritation for some. 

It also includes collagen which I don't think is active or effective when applied topically as does not penetrate /absorb through skin.

Other ingredients which I found beneficial include:
hyaluronic acid, ceramide, peptides, niacinamide

2 unique ingredients that are new to me and am unfamiliar with are the Hydrolyzed Elastin and their patented "Link N Lift"


Overall I found this cream to be very hydrating and moisturizing. It feels very luxurious, absorbs well and does not leave a cast, film nor is it greasy or oily. The nourishing and soft plump supple skin feel is long lasting too. 

I feel neutral about the scent although maybe some mixed feelings about the fragrance as it isn't something I would want or choose for myself. It doesn't smell bad persay , it actually reminds me of my grandma. I feel like this is what she would prefer and what her skincare products probably smell like.  






The glossyness fades but the tint/color lasts for at least a couple of hours. 
Only 5 shades available 

I love this line of Peripera lip products. 
The Ink Tint Serum leaves a long lasting beautifully colored stain with a gloss like natural finish and fruity scent.
The Ink Tint Serum line has (only 5) vibrant bold colors that give a sheer pigmented stain , and transparent-like glossy pigmented finish. 

I found that the Peripera lip tint products I tried are much less drying than other brands. 
I appreciated how moisturizing this formula is. 
I found it hydrating as it does contain 'eight kinds of hyaluronic acid and ceramide" 

The consistency isn't to watery, oily, cakey, creamy, thick or sticky. The way it smoothly glides and leaves a natural stain and sheen is desirable . It also allows me to apply it without a mirror!
