i’m so curious about retinol because i haven’t tried it. is it essential? why do you use retinol products? anyone had any reactions and any good (or bad) results? how do you use it? at what age / time you should start using it? any recommendation for beginner? i’ve so many questions! 😅 share your thoughts on this ingredient!

it can be applied to face, neck and other dry areas as often as needed during the day and at night! 

𝐦𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞
first of all, let’s talk about the packaging! it’s very minimalistic but they also provided cute stickers so you can personalise it! 🦄✨ i like the fact that they listed the ingredients together with their functions. since i’m not an ingredients expert, i really appreciate this so i know what i can expect! 

now onto the product itself, it’s a 💧 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 💧 the texture is somewhere in between gel and cream and it’s very lightweight! when you blend it in, it turns into this watery consistency and absorbs beautifully! 

however, it is not moisturising enough for me. one night, i used this product only for my routine. needed 3 squeezes to cover my whole face. it did not provide the plumping effect that i crave but it did soften my skin. my skin felt normal the next morning, it’s not as dry but it’s not super moisturised either. 

it’s great when combined with other hydrating products-𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯! i’ve been loving the combo of 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗲’𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 with this product!

if you want to spend extra more on a lip balm definitely get this one!

it’s a simple but very hydrating toner for me ☺️ it doesn’t contain those famous ingredients like 𝘩𝘺𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘥 &amp; 𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘥𝘦 so i don’t have to worry about accidentally “double dipping” skincare products in my routine. since it doesn’t have 𝘩𝘺𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘥 in it, there isn’t any stickiness at all! due to that, i love to do several layers with it - 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘶𝘱! 💦 it helps with the dryness that i always experience after cleansing and soothes my skin at the same time 😌 it doesn’t have any particular scent, smells “clean” - 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺! oh, i like to pair it with 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗯’𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 🌿 the combination of 𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢 &amp; 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘧 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘴 is perfect for sensitised skin! overall, it’s a basic toner but i love it for that! i really appreciate basic products these days 👌🏼

it’s creamy &amp; buttery but not too thick on my dry skin! i love how it gives that dewy effect as well plump up my skin ✨ i barely have any dry patches these days, thanks to this product!
