So I was looking up the good molecules niacinamide brightening toner and was wondering if it’s recommended for oily, acne prone, sensitive skin? Cuz the ordinary niacinamide broke me out like crazy but this one has only 3% concentration so feels more promising. Is it worth it?

Do what extent do ya’ll think that toners are important in your routine? Most of the time I haven’t seen permanent improvement. I’ve seen temporary things like looking more hydrated, or less oily, things like that but has any specific toner helped you with acne, hyperpigmentation or anything at all?

Is it just me or do you enter every giveaway but don’t get picked probably because of where you live? I’m from Bangladesh and it’s comparatively a smaller country and I’ve seen almost no winners from here at all. Did you guys experience this if you’re from a lesser known country? Genuinely curious

Hear me out, I love how picky users have a tag next to their name stating their closest skin type, but wouldn’t it be even better if there was a different maybe “acne prone” tag? 

I feel like that would help people who are prone to acne to be able to find more suitable products. It could even range from “cystic acne”, “fungal acne”, etc which would allow people facing similar concerns to find their perfect products. The term “sensitive” is so broad and is definitely not the same for everyone. 

I’ve noticed how under “concerns”, there isn’t the fungal acne tag which can be an issue cuz there’s so many products out there that aren’t fungal acne safe. It would make it easier for people.

Oily/Acne prone tag

So I’ve been trying out a range of moisturizers but nothing has been working for me so far. The isntree hyaluronic acid aqua gel cream worked great initially but then I started to see a breakout after like 5 days. Same thing happened with the cosrx green tea aqua gel which I loved the texture of. My go to has been the cerave moisturizing cream but it becomes too heavy for summer days. I have oily skin mainly too and I live in a humid country so not the best combo. 

I’m more on the sensitive, acne prone side but any recommendation will be a big help in my search💕

Best moisturizer for the summer?

Okay so this has an essential oil aka bergamot oil and it can be very irritating to the skin. At first i didnt see anything but in about 1-2 weeks my skin started getting inflamed and breakung out. Once i stopped using it again i was okay. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!

Its hydrating and light weight but might not be enough fir dry skin

Its a bit too heavy for me during summer time so i tend not to use it in the morning anymore but onlt at night

Definately one of the best products out there. I saw a significant differnece in my skim tsxture after using this. With consistent use, your skin will look smoother

I dont know what happened but 5 days into using it, my skin started to breakout, and stopped breaking out after i refrained from using it. I do have more sensitive skin but thought this would be calming

It was really lighrweight and i loved the way it felt on my skin throughout the day

Texture: feels a bit heavy. Initially I didn’t emulsify it and directly applied it to my face and it became a thick mask almost and took a while to take off. 

Takes makeup off as well. Leaves the skin feeling fresh but not dry. Pores feel deeply cleaned 

The tube doesn’t allow all product to be used

Very good texture and not clogging at all.
