Recently, I started breaking out terribly on my forehead. It looked like “fungal acne” for a while and now it’s a ton of whiteheads. I’ve done some research and think I know what I should do to treat it, but my forehead’s also been itchy. I’ve never really experienced this before. Does that mean my skin is dehydrated or is that just because of the fungal acne? Sorry if I sound clueless! I tried looking online but couldn’t find much about itchiness.

My mom recently talked me into buying a new sunscreen that is more organic/clean. It’s the SPF 30 Sport Sunscreen by Juice Beauty. I thought the product was working well, but then my forehead started breaking out. I’m not a skincare expert by any means, but they just look like closed comedones. I’m trying to figure out whether I should continue using the sunscreen until my skin gets used to the formula or if I should stop before things get worse. Any help would be so appreciated!

Is it possible for a sunscreen to cause closed comedones or breakouts?

Hey everyone! I was hoping to get some guidance from those of you who are more familiar with CeraVe and/or cleanser products in general. For context, I have oily-ish combination skin. I bought the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser sometime last year, and every time I use it, I get a few whiteheads in my t-zone the next day. Does anyone happen to know if it’s a certain ingredient in this specific cleanser’s formula that can trigger a whitehead breakout? I’m hoping to purchase a new cleanser soon and I want to try to avoid any particular ingredients that might be incompatible with my skin type. I would really appreciate any help! Thank you so much!

Rough Effects of CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser

It does sting a little, but that’s expected and also put as a warning on the bottle. I just have to use it sparingly and follow up with a moisturizer to minimize the burning sensation!

This was my first time using an exfoliator like this, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I like it a ton! Makes my skin feels super clean and refreshed!!

I  have nothing negative to say!! I think it’s a little pricey (I paid $14.99 and it’s 2 oz) but I’m not going to complain because it’s a miracle that this product doesn’t break me out in my oily t-zone.

I’m a big fan of this product. As someone who has terrible combination skin and get heaps of oiliness on my forehead, I struggle to find a moisturizer that will work well. I think this is it! Blends in perfectly and doesn’t make my skin feel congested.

I have nothing bad to say. I will mention that it doesn’t lather, but that’s not a problem.

Although I have combination skin, this facial cleanser works really well for me! I’ve been trying a variety of different products lately and my skin needed a break, so I’m taking a step back and focusing on the basics. I love how healthy and calming the ingredients are. I am super satisfied with the outcome so far!

Unfortunately, it broke me out every week. I think my skin became a little worse after I intergrated the Cerave cleanser into my skincare routine. :(

I was really looking forward to trying this product out because I have combination skin and I heard it would likely help me out. It definitely helped eliminate my oiliness problem!

The smell is terrible. I don’t know how to explain it, but the scent reminds me and my mom of grass (in a weird way). I broke out on my forehead after the initial use. I have combination skin, so the formula might not be super compatible with my oiliness. I’ll keep trying though!

This sunscreen blends well - it has a white cast at first, but it goes away after you continue rubbing the product in for a little while. It also absorbs into your skin instead of just sitting on top, which is a plus! Ingredients are great as well.
