I have been interested in getting a professional facial. I would love to hear everyone’s experiences if you have gotten one or have chosen to do them at home.
 
I think my main concern personally with getting a facial at a spa is that I won’t really know what they are putting on my face. 
I have a few allergies and most can be found at a spa. ( Lavender, chamomile, pine/cedar, tea tree, mugwort) 
If anyone with allergies has gone to a spa, how did they accommodate you?

How often do you go get a facial at a spa? Or do you not at all?

I’m specifically looking for ones that will work with cool toned and pale skin.

I always put spf on before makeup but was wondering if there was such a thing as a setting spray that had spf? If so how do you like it?

This is my first tinted sunscreen. It’s very easy to quickly rub in before going out. The tinted green makes it so I don’t even need foundation somedays.

I wish the product sunk into the skin more quickly but that could be because of the other products I’m using

I have been on the search for a high percentage azelaic acid as my insurance won’t cover finacea for my type 2 rosacea. I’m also allergic to whatever they use as the carrier for the generic azelaic acid cream. 

This is my holy grail it does sting when applied but that’s just been my experience with all azelaic acid products.
 I will forever be grateful for Dermatica for having this product available without a prescription. I have had no allergic reactions so far with about 3 weeks of use. 

It takes a while to fully sink into the skin. I recommend waiting 10 minutes before continuing your skin routine.


I have been trying to find a toner that doesn’t cause a bad reaction and I have finally found it with this product! It’s super hydrating and has helped with my redness. 

I love the packaging and that they have braille on the container. I also think it's smart that they include a little plastic spatula to put on the cream.
The cream goes on nicely, it's not tacky or sticky like other snail products I have used before.
It behaves like a semi thick cream but it sinks in quickly. It is fragranced, it smells like clean laundry or detergent.
I definitely recommend this if you have sensitive skin and need a thicker cream.

You definitely need to know how much to use and you could easily over exfoliate your skin!

I remember trying this exfoliator when I was a preteen. Definitely brings back memories.
This is a very gentle physical exfoliator, it really helped clear up some dry patches on my face.
You only need a tiny pea sized amount and you barely put any pressure on when you are rubbing it in.
I have very sensitive skin and this didn't cause any bad flare ups.
I would definitely recommend this when your skin is very dry and you need to remove some of the dead skin cells. This product also has braille!
