To be more specific, do talc powders clog pores? I’ve tried to google it but there are conflicting answers and some of them seem sketchy. 

I usually use powder on top of my sunscreen for a more matte look. (chemical sunscreens tend to make my face look greasy 😣)

I would like to hear from experts and even non-experts who did their research. And I’d appreciate it if you’d state your source/s. Thanks!

looking for an affordable centella moisturizer

I’ve been using this app for a few months now, and every now and then I notice someone post/spread misinformation.

Do you think posts like this should be allowed? This person has actually convinced people to try DIY face scrubs. If you bother to do a little research, you would know that face scrubs, especially DIY face scrubs, are BAD for your skin. It will cause micro-tears and will damage your skin barrier. What’s worse are the ingredients that this person has suggested we use! Baking soda? Coconut oil? Essential oils?

I think people using this app should be more responsible when it comes to sharing information. I’ve already told this person that they are badly misinformed, yet they refuse to delete the post. This will possibly damage some curious reader’s skin soon.

I have no idea why this product has positive reviews. I’ll keep it short. DO NOT USE APRICOT SCRUBS, unless you are the type who likes rubbing broken glass all over your face. The particles in this product are all different sizes and shapes. Some are sharp and irregular while others are large. Literally every single dermatologist HATES this product. AVOID AT ALL COSTS and stop giving this good reviews.

Those with oily skin may look greasy after using this product, but it’s nighttime so who cares?! There was some pilling when I first started using it, but for some reason it no longer pills (my guess is that I was using too much).

Olay Retinol 24 is probably one of the best retinol moisturizers out there. This was the first retinol that I used and I have never experienced irritation. As a moisturizer, it is packed with humectants, emollients, and occlusives, so your skin will feel moisturized throughout the night.

I highly recommend this as a daytime moisturizer for people with very oily skin. It is moisturizing enough for the day and if does not make your face look greasy. Also, the fact that this is mostly made up of centella makes it a perfect moisturizer for those with sensitive skin.

It is effective enough in removing makeup, sunscreen, and dirt without drying your skin.

Horrible product, from the experience standpoint alone. Not only is it very hard to spread on your skin, it leaves a very visible white cast! The ingredients do not even matter anymore. It’s a big no for me since it makes me look like Mulan or a ghost.
