💙 What I didn’t like 💙
This left a horrible taste in my mouth whenever I got the product accidentally in it, so be cautious and don’t open your mouth while cleansing (I learned that the hard way). 🤣 
The packaging makes it a little hard to get the right amount of product out of the bottle. While I felt like one pump of product was too little, two pumps was way too much. Also, getting the very last of the cleanser out of the bottle was also difficult, I had to resort to tipping the bottle upside down to get everything out of it.
While I liked this cleanser, I still prefer using the Inkey List Salicylic Acid cleanser, as I felt like I saw better results with that product. 

💙 Review: Cerave SA Smoothing Cleanser 💙

I bought the Cerave SA Smoothing Cleaner due to the fact that I love utilizing cleansers containing active ingredients during my nighttime routine. My skin often gets very congested over the course of the day and needs to be thoroughly cleansed in the evening. 

✉️ About the product:
💙 notable ingredients are salicylic acid, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, ceramide 1, 3 and 6-II
💙 can be used on face and body (I only used it in the face)
💙 non-comedogenic formula
💙 fragnance-free
💙 claims to gently peel the skin to make it soft and smooth
💙 affordable (I got the product from Amazon for 15 Euros, but you can also buy it in pharmacies in Germany)

🧖🏻‍♀️ Incorporation into my routine: 
I used this cleaner as the second step of my double cleanse. I used the product along with two cleansing balms: first, the Heimish All Clean Balm and then the Glow Recipe Papaya Enzyme Cleansing Balm. 

👁 My final thoughts: 
I really liked this cleanser! It gives you a nice lather and rinses off easily. It also didn’t sting my eyes or dried out my skin. After using the Cerave SA Smoothing Cleanser, my skin felt clean and was prepared for the next few steps of my nighttime routine. 

Overall I think you’re getting a good product for the money you’ve spent. It’s affordable and easily accessible (at least here in Germany). It contains a good mix of good ingredients which work for a lot of skin types (I think even dry skin gals could use this without any issues!). 

It somtimes stings my skin and makes the area below my chin itch when I apply it there. 

This product instantly reduces redness and helps fight acne. I also like that it dries down matt, as I tend to have a shiny forehead and cheeks. 

I usually tend to use way too much product because of the packaging. 

This delivers instant hydration and soothes my skin in seconds. Definitely a lifesaver for whenever my skin tends to be more on the sensitive side! 

At some point I felt like the toner stopped working as well for me as in the beginning.

This immediately calms down my skin on a bad day and has a nice texture.

Slightly burns in the eyes and smells a little funny.

It‘s non-stripping and leaves my skin feeling clean.
