Anyone have product recommendations or skin care tips for fading the dark spots I get from a breakout? I have a lot of old light reddish/purpuley pigmentation on my cheeks leftover from breakouts over the course of the past decade. Are there any ways to fade those old dark spots? Also, what about for new spots (since I still get breakouts during my period 😭)? 

I don’t do too much for my skincare routine, besides wear sunscreen in the morning and Hyaluronic serum and moisturizer in the evening. 

I could use some suggestions. Thanks!

Hyperpigmentation From Acne

CONS:
-doesn’t remove makeup: this milky cleanser doesn’t claim to remove makeup, so this is no fault of the product, but I wish this cleanser had more oomph at cleansing my skin. After a long day of sweating, this cleanser isn’t enough to cut through my oils and sunscreen buildup either

*recommend for those with sensitive dry skin*

PROS:
-gentle: works great for when my skin is sensitive and dry (Contains colloidal oatmeal and pha). Doesn’t lather
-hydrating: skin feels moisturized after use, no tight, striped of moisture feeling at all (contains ceramides)


-stings eyes: claims to be gentle enough to remove eye makeup but it stings if it grts into eyes

-cleanses+hydrates: i use this when in a pinch to remove makeup or cleanse skin in the morning, and my skin always feels decently moisturized after. 
-light exfoliate: skin was noticeably smoother and brighter during the first month i used
-big bottle: I appreciate how much product you get. (Plastic bottle)

-Slight peach tint thst may peak through if you have super pale skin. 
-can look greasy at end of day with my oily skin 

-THE GLOW!! makes you look so healthy
-Unscented 
-light and easy to blend in
-doesn’t irritate eyes 
-doesnt give me breakouts 

The price- expensive product for what it does. It does leave your skin feeling a bit sticky though. As for toning down redness, I didn't see any drastic results, only minor temporary ones. I find myself dropping more
product than I wanted with this dropper design which means finishing the
bottle faster.

*Recommend if have dry/ sensitive, damaged skin right now, but I would skip if neither of those apply to you*

It is hydrating and soothing on my skin. I
used this when my skin barrier was damaged and found it to be very calming. Not once did it irritate my sensitive skin. Having acne prone skin, I have not noticed any breakouts while using this. The dropper design is cool with the press down to dispense instead of the traditional squeeze droppers. 

-my pump doesn’t properly pump anymore for some reason (half way through the bottle) never dropped it so unsure why it is doing that 

-lovely light oil: keeps skin moisturized. I like to mix with my moisturizer/ body lotion for an extra boost during winter. Because it is a lighter consistency than other type of oils, it worked well when my skin was oily. 
-no scent
-multitasker: can be used on skin, face, or even hair
-doesn’t cause breakouts on my acne prone skin 
-sugar cane derived squalane
