Hi!! Im back, if you remember me. I was the inkey list and cerave fanatics, answering peoples questions. I am now back with new knowledge. Back then I was really focus on retinol, aha, bha, niacinamide, but the world of kbeauty had introduced me to new inhredients. 

I recently got into snail mucin, green tea, salix alba extract, ginseng, propolis and betain salicylate. Propolis and gren tea are known to help with acne, but does anyone know otherr ingredients that can help too? Please tell me any special kbeauty ingredients too!

Korean Ingredients

hi! these arent questions, but I think its important to put out here. Just some informations I learned from SkincarebyHyram,  Liah Yoo, Lab Muffin Beauty Science and Dr.Dray

1. chemical sunscreen
physical sunscreen uses ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium oxide while chemical sunscreen uses ingredients like  (in north america) oxybenzone, octocrylene, homosalate, avobenzone, octisalate, octinoxate, ect,... these ingredients can harm marine life (especially octocrylene and oxybenzonr) and cause irritation to skin
but chemical sunscreen in other places like korea uses ingredients like tinosorb, mexoryl, etc,.. which doesnt harm marine life and actually work very well for the skin. if you absolutely hate using zinc oxide sunscreen (sunscreen peels, white cast) try to look for a korean chemical sunscreen :) the one from krave beauty is a great chemical sunscreen

2. Use chemical exfoliators properly
always wear sunscreen  especially if you use use these active ingredients. Dont use too often and dont use too many in one routine. 

3. Self love, and self care
this is very important, doing skincare should be an act of self care and even though your skin will get better, what more important is that you feel better. Acne and skin problems are normal, and dont make you less beautiful

hi! i like my routine so far, but i think i need to update it. I want to get rid of acne, acne scars, texture,, black/white heads, some wrinkle, sebacious filament, fungal acne. the ingredients i used are salicylic acid,  hyaluronic acid,  coenzyme10, ceramide, niacinamide, glycolic. these are the products i use

AM:
Inkey list Salicylic acid cleanser
Inkey list hyaluronic acid serum
Inkey list Q10 serum
Cerave Moisturizing Lotion
Cerave  AM facial moisturizing lotion  SPF 30

PM:
Inkey list salicylic acid cleanser
Inkey list hyaluronic acid serum 
Inkey list glycolic toner (every other day)
Cerave Moisturizing Lotion

help my routine

hi! i have some minor couperose on lower cheek. probably from aggressively using scrubs before i knew how to skin care. is there any ingredients I should use? I'm currently using these products which work great for my other skin concern and havent made the couperose worse.

Its good, but dont overcleanse or use too much. Just use it correctly and itll be very good

Life saver lmao, gentle but effective,  helps with break out, black heads, etc,...

Has zinc oxide, but still have other chemical sunscreen ingredient,  if apply wrong then sinscreen might pill. Let last step of skincare soak in for 1 min before apply sunscreen, also work sunscreen on finger a bit before apply on face

Has niacinamide,  doesnt have huge white cast,  kind of hydrating, good sunscreen to have

Doesnt clog pores, but its an extreme occlusive, iif use on dirty skin, itll lock in the dirt as well which may break you out. Doesnt feel that great on skin

Good for dry lips (use on damp  skin though), also great for eyebrows, eye lashes, tip of hair

These scrubs arent gentle enough for the skin, which can cause scarring, broken capillaries, larger pores, etc,... has fragrance and other irritating ingredients. The advertised ingredient (green tea) is near the bottom of the ingredient list which mean there isnt much of it . I recommend using BHA, AHA and PHA (chemical exfoliators)  instead

....well you might see the result right away (smooth skin) but this product doesnt benefit the skin

Nothing bad, a little too hydrating for my oily skin so as long as I use less moisturizer, its fine

Amamzing texture, a little thick for my oily skin, but its fine if I use less moisturizer. Anti bacterial propolis and niacinamide which helped my acne  and  make my skin glow. Very very very hydrating, best for dry skin
