Has anyone ever had electrolysis (hair removal) and know the best way to deal with hyperpigmentation from it? I know the process of electrolysis causes a lot of the trauma to the skin and thus hyperpigmentation but wondered whether anyone had any products that they have used as a treatment post electrolysis as the normal products I’d normally use for pigmentation are not showing any results on the areas I’ve had electrolysis. Would be great to hear from anyone that has had experience with electrolysis as I know it’s not a common method for hair removal. Thanks! :)

I’m thinking of using a retinol that I bought for my face on my body as it’s close to expiring and I just wasn’t loving the texture of it. What are peoples thoughts/experiences?  Can you use retinol on your body, if so are there any areas of your body you should avoid (areas that have thin skin etc.)?

the tamanu oil has an odd scent,  which would take you by surprise if you didn’t know what tamanu oil smelt like as it’s not one you’d associate with skincare.  On application it is a strong smell but it does fade, the smell is not bad enough for me to discontinue use especially as its a night cream. 
Other cons are that prices fluctuate so much on Korean sites, sometimes it’s approximate £10-13 and other times it’s £20+. Also, it has a 6 month self life so be sure to use it daily to make the most of the product (although, personally I’m not too fussed if I use a product passed it’s shelf life if it’s not an active)

This is such a beautiful night cream, it has a super buttery nourishing texture. I was really impressed with the texture as it definitely felt very high end. 

It contains green plum, 5% Tamanu Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Green Tea Extract and Centella Asiatica. Overall, a lovely combination of ingredients to nourish the skin. I think most people would feel at first glance this is ideal for dry skin (which it is) but I am combo-oily and it worked perfectly in my routine. As a night cream, it’s not that heavy&#47;suffocating feel that you would associate with night creams. Overall, I’d recommend this to my friends

Nothing bad to say, wish it came in bigger packaging so i wouldnt have to wait a few weeks for it to be shippe in the UK (i usually purchase this from Yesstyle)

I really liked this product. Its a nice gentle no fuss nor lies product. It has a thicker than water kinda texture (but not like fresh aloe from the plant). My main motivation for buying this was that i wanted a gentle aloe vera product to soothe the post electrolysis treatment i was having treated on my face and i liked it more than expected. I think this is a good toner for all skin types and i would repurchase this product, especially as it doesnt cost too much either.

It is a bit pricey but i think its worth it if you dont  want the typical chapsticks that sometimes irritate you lips further

I was skeptical of this lipbalm but i think it really worked! Ive got really chapped lips at the moment since the weather has been cold. It has a thick trxture but applies smoothly, layers okay under other lipgloss etc. And i have notifed my lips have bece less chapped, smoother and less irritated since using it. It contains 5% panthenol which provides instant, intense relief from discomfort and repairs the damaged skin, while 3% MP-lipids recreates the hydrolupidic film to prevent chapping. Ive only used this for week but have seen noticable difference already

I think its overpriced, its a nice serum but nothing more. I think if its on offer (usually boots&#47;superdrug have 50% if youre UK based) then pick it up if youre in the mood to experiment because its not a bad product i just think there may be other products that could benefit you without putting strain on your bank account

I enjoyed this product although do feel it was overhyped. It has a very strong fragrance to it, this doesnt bother me but something to be wary of if you are sensitive to fragrance. Its a transparent gel like serum and blends easily into the skin.  It contains hylaronic acid and velvet flower and is meant to pump the skin and help with fine lines and wrinkles. I personally didnt experience any of those benefits and i think a few years ago this product blew up due to hylaronic acid becoming a popular ingredient.

The purito controversy makes me anxious to continue using this sunscreen. However, i will keep using this over the winter until more data comes out about how much sun protection it actually offers

Lovely sunscreen and blends beautifully. I have dark skin and dont feel it leaves a noticeable whitecast when not wearing makeup. Plus, a good price point as its approx. £13 or less
