 it’s too early to notice any brightening effects since I’ve only been using it for a few weeks. 

This slightly viscous serum contains the brand’s patented MadeWhite ingredient encapsulated in little white beads that melt easily into the skin. I like this one much more than their original centella ampoule; it’s more hydrating and contains other worthy ingredients aside from centella. Their original centella ampoule just felt like water on my skin; this one actually has some oomph to it. Also love how big the bottle is! 

This is a very watery, lightweight toner. I love how this contains such a high concentration of centella, alongside the vit C derivative and the papaya and apple extracts (gentle exfoliants) to minimize any irritation from the latter bunch of ingredients. I haven’t been using this long enough to notice any brightening effects, but so far, it’s been a decent addition for an extra layer of very, VERY slight hydration.

I have nothing negative to say about this serum.

I like to use this serum when my skin is breaking out since it does an amazing job at calming breakouts and inflammation due to the abundance of anti-inflammatory ingredients. Although this serum contains only 15% of propolis extract, it’s the whole formulation as a whole that makes this product so effective at calming acne and inflammation since it is jam-packed with acne-fighting ingredients. I can’t say that I saw the sebum regulating properties of the zinc PCA, but I can say that this didn’t leave me looking oily. This serum not only does a good job at calming breakouts and irritation, but it also provides my dehydrated oily skin with enough hydration without the greasy look. When I use this at night, my skin is left glowing and feeling hydrated the next morning. This is definitely a great product to use if you’re breaking out and is suitable for all skin types and conditions.

I do find that this does require a bit of effort to wash off completely due its sticky texture, but not anything too cumbersome.

My skin feels so smooth, moisturized, and looks and feels less inflamed after washing off this mask. This mask is perfect for acne, as well as inflamed and irritated skin since it contains propolis extract, in addition to 38.7% honey, which are both anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. It is also a really great mask during the winter as it provides soo much moisture and hydration. This mask also contains so many great ingredients - 38.7% natural honey from Jiri Mountain in South Korea, macadamia nut oil, Sunflower seed oil, shea butter, hazelnut seed oil,  jojoba seed oil, snail secretion filtrate, aloe leaf water, propolis extract, beta-glucan, bee venom

The texture isn’t that much different from the original Klairs cleansing oil.

When I first used this light cleanser, it felt very similar to the original Klairs oil cleanser in terms of the lack of a good slip as you massage it into your skin. However, once I started to emulsify it, that’s where I noticed the difference - the light version is so much easier to emulsify and wash off compared to the original, which makes first cleansing less burdensome. I like how this Light version uses oils that aren’t too thick, but are known to be good at cleansing and are suitable for all skin types. Another thing I like about this product is its minimalistic ingredient list of less than 10 ingredients and no essential oils - something that is perfect for my sensitive skin. One of my favourite oil cleansers is formulated with a bunch of essential oils, so I was on the hunt for a replacement first cleanser that does not contain such ingredients but is light enough to be easily emulsified and washed away without leaving a film on my face. This cleanser checks off all those boxes and has easily become one of my new faves!
