I'm working up the nerve to  reach out to a brand for the first time for a gifted collab. Does anyone have any tips?

If you live in 🇺🇲 this is important to know. 

Many k beauty brands are trying to get into US chains but Korean sunscreens ( though far superior) don't meet out dated FDA sunscreen standards. 

My favorite sunscreen the Round Lab birch juice SPF got reformulated for US standards and let me tell you it is not it! I'm so sad, with the 🇺🇲 uv filters it feels completely different. Beware if you are buying Korean SPF in the US it may be reformulated so stock up while you can 😭😭😭

My first really negative review

I'm a small creator, 1000 follows on IG and TikTok, but since hitting 1000 I have been lucky enough to have brands reach out to me for gifted collabs. As everyone here knows making reels takes time and I'm starting to feel like I have to prioritize my time. A pretty popular Korean brand ask if I would do a gifted collab for a trial set 30ml/ 1oz set of three mini cleansers.

In my mind a cleanser is like $15 for a full size, 3 mini size cleansers is just not rewarding enough for my time.

For the first time I declined a brands offer, I let them know that I was prioritizing paid collaborations and if they were interested to let me know.

What do you think? Did I make the right choice?

This product has a very unique, lightweight texture that is not sticky and absorbs well. It is great for texture and brightening. I would recommend it to anyone who wants exfoliation but also has dry/ sensitive skin

I wish you didn't have to refrigerate it but it's worth it 

I love how thoughtful the packaging is! It's a very high quality vitamin C that is an amazing value compared to other high end serums. Light weight and potent, great for all skin types. I would definitely recommend 

This cream is super light weight but also hydrating, I'd recommend it to anyone with sensitive and slightly dehydrated skin that wants something calming. It also smells amazing 

Nothing, I think this is one of the best launches in a long time

I think this is such a smart product, if you are like me, I have occasional hormonal breakout so I love that you can use the AHA/BHA serum treatment exactly where you need it! I also suffer from post inflammatory pigmentation that lasts long past my blemish the pigmentation treatment is a perfect solution to my monthly problem 

This is a Full color gloss, it's almost as much color as a liquid lipstick, it's not sticky but it does hug the lips and lasts for a couple of hours. Very similar to the marc Jacobs lip laquers if you are looking for a dupe. Would recommend to anyone who loves gloss *picture shows sorbet 30 and 70 for contrast.
