Hi! I just want to share my before/after pictures. I was scrolling through my photos and stumbled upon my picture back in 2020, then I realized how far I've come with my skin. 

My skin never really had any problems aside from occasional breakouts because of puberty and oiliness, and I never bothered with skincare that much. But come quarantine, I started smoking, that's when closed comedones and cystic acnes started appearing on my face. I continued smoking for 2 months, then I realized my face was getting worse because of it.

September 2020, that's when I decided to go to a derma. She prescribed me her products which I bought and used. The prescriptions worked, but they were expensive as hell (6$ for 5 grams of moisturizer?!) especially for a broke student. I continued using her products for 3 months, then I finally ventured into the world of ✨ skincare ✨. It's worth noting that on November, derma suggested I get a facial. I did and it helped with my cc's.

Now I occasionally get acne whenever I'm on my period, or when I sleep without washing my face. I'm currently working on my face texture and hyperpigmentations, and I'm also looking for a better moisturizer so feel free to suggest (budget friendly) products that can address my concerns.

What have I learned from this journey? (1) Smoking isn't for me nor my face, (2) skincare is both expensive and affordable but worth it, (3) taking care of myself is more important than my vices.

[B/A] Not that drastic of a change, but still good progress

This has always been my dilemma. Acne oftentimes appear between my eyebrows and I don't know why and how I can prevent them from coming back.

I use a benzoyl peroxide treatment, so far it has been an ok addition to my routine but not an HG. I also don't have bangs so I dont think hair is the culprit. I've also been researching about this but I'm just lost now. 

Any advice?

Acne always appearing between eyebrows?

I usually get acne one after the other heals, but whenever im on my period, 3-5 acne just appear out of nowhere. Do you guys have any products that you use for this? Maybe a spot treatment specifically for my face type. Bonus if it's easily accessible in the Philippines and budget-friendly.

I've been using it on my face and body, so far I've used up only 1/4 of the bottle in the span of 5 months. It expires 12 months after opening and at this rate it'll expire still half full. Can y'all give me ideas on other ways to use this toner? TIA!

What do you do with your TO glycolic acid?

Every skin is different. This product for me, despite my good review for it, is so so. I used it for about 2 months and got minimal results.

I really love the scent of this product. It leaves my skin supple and feeling fresh whenever I use it!

It did it&#39;s job as a moisturizer, but not as a whitener.

Relatively cheap and can be bought almost anywhere. My skin loves the formulation.

It&#39;s not suitable for me. My skin broke out, especially on my chin area.

Its price is fairly cheap. I like the feel of it while lathering it on my skin.

I have nothing bad to say about this product.

It. does. its. job. I&#39;ve been using this toner for 2 months, its helped with hyperpigmentation and acne.

It has alcohol as one of its ingredients.

So far, it&#39;s doing ok. It didn&#39;t break me out, but I&#39;ve yet to see it&#39;s positive effects.
