Maybeee. I still have a hugeeee bottle loll I think it is a nice decent affordable no-frills toner to have and I can see myself reaching for this especially during hotter days. But sometimes when I am lazy or in a rush I just don’t like to spend extra time for layering hahaa

This toner is watery with a slight slip and feels lightweight on the skin. It absorbs into the skin quickly and gives a slightly tacky finish that doesn’t feel heavy. It also layers well with other skincare products.

💭 I usually apply 2-3 layers of this as one layer is not hydrating enough for my dehydrated skin💦 With 2-3 layers my skin feels nicely hydrated without feeling heavy. Instead of saying that it provides deeeeep hydration, I think it provides my skin with a decent amount of lightweight hydration that is nice for the summer☀️

💭 I also like to soak cotton pad with this and use it as toner pad especially in my daytime routine for a nice skincare experience🧖🏼‍♀️ 

💭 I think its soothing benefit (which the product claims) is not obvious on my skin. What it does to my skin is primarily hydrating imo👀 

💭 Affordable with a huge bottle💵 (~AUD25/USD18 for 400mL!!) 

💭 Suitable for pretty much all skin types. I think it may not be enough as the sole hydrating product in the routine for dehydrated skin. However I recommend it if you are aiming for a gradual yet noticeable effect on lightening PIH, but do not opt for treatment with strong active ingredients. I actually like it very much!💛 While it retails for USD25/100mL, I think it is a pretty good deal considering its noticeable effect on my PIH and how easily it can be added to the routine and layer with other products. I think I am likely to purchase this one!

💦 Texture
Slightly viscous gel which blends out a bit watery on the face. The tiny white capsules in it do not feel abrasive on my face and dissolve pretty easily (occasionally 1-2 capsules left behind after rubbing it in). Absorbs pretty quickly as an ampoule and gives a slightly glowy finish that is a little tacky. Has a slight almond-y scent to me. 

💁🏻‍♀️ My experience

💭 After the first 1.5 - 2 week of using this I start to notice that the PIH on my face lightens a bit🤩 My skintone evens out a little although it doesn't significantly brighten my face. Quite surprising to me and overall I am pretty impressed with its effects😍 

💭 It lightly hydrates my dehydrated skin but I wouldn't rely on this alone for hydration. It slightly calms my acne that they look less red and irritated. Causes me no irritation as my first tranexamic acid product (used twice a day). 

💭 More suitable for normal, combination and oily skin types as dry skin may find this too thin for hydration. Can be a nice option for you if you are looking for a watery toner with great ingredients for a potential gradual brightening/exfoliating effect. This is also free of fragrance/EO/drying alcohol✅

💭 I usually apply 2-3 layers of this and it feels lightly hydrating for my dehydrated skin💦 The toner itself is not sufficient for me as the sole hydrating product in my routine so I usually couple this with a hydrating serum. It can sting my skin slightly where my skin barrier is compromised.

💭 Its brightening and exfoliating effect is not quite significant on my skin yet👀 However I think it would take more time for ingredients such as niacinamide and vitamin c derivative to work. 

💭 As the toner contains exfoliating fruit extracts, I personally prefer to use it no more than once per day, although fruit extracts are considered rather gentle. 

💭 More suitable for normal to dry skin. I think oily skin may find it too heavy, and that VERY dry skin may find this not moisturizing enough. This product is vegan, free of drying alcohols, EO and fragrance✅

💰Repurchase? 
Maybeeee(?) I think it is a decent moisturizer that I will reach for when my skin is healthy. This does do its job to moisturize (and I actually enjoy its texture), but sometimes I do need nighttime moisturizers that can strengthen/repair my skin barrier better.

💭 After application, it does leave an emollient layer that is slightly oily. I personally prefer rich moisturizer for my nighttime routine so I actually quite like it. However, it can feel a bit oily for me during the daytime in warm weather (hot summer now in Australia☀️)

💭 I think it is a moisturizer that decently moisturizes my skin. It does make my skin feel smooth the next morning when I used it the night before. However, I have not (yet) noticed a particular effect on strengthening my skin barrier (which the product claims)👀

💭 I sometimes had some specific dry and irritated patches around the nose lately and I still found them dry the next morning after applying this the night before. Think it can be not enough for VERY dry skin

Sun milk texture with a slight viscosity to it. Feels and looks greasy during and right after initial application. Takes time to dry down to a natural finish on my skin which feels a little greasy to the touch but doesn’t feel heavy. Has a slight typical sun milk kind of scent.

💁🏻‍♀️ My experience

💭 Doesn’t leave any whitecast on my skin after completely dries down (my skintone: medium to medium beige👶🏼). Can be reapplied easily without any whitecast and pilling. Haven’t been out for water sports lately but it is sweatproof on my skin during hot summer (it claims to be waterproof).

💭 I like the natural finish of this which doesn’t make my skin look oilier throughout the day!🤩 It feels rather lightweight and surprisingly feels slightly moisturizing on my skin. I still apply moisturizer before this for the amount of hydration/moisturization my dehydrated skin needs💦 I don’t tend to use it every day tho as I sometimes find that my pores can be a little clogged if I wear this for a super long day (my pores can get clogged pretty easily in general).
