What do you guys think of this ingredient? I love products that contains it and use a squalane oil serum as the final step of my skin care as a slugging alternative

I have really dry and dark undereyes with fine lines and i was looking for a eye cream that’s good for that. I’ve used the fraijour 3d core retinol eye cream and enjoyed but i would love recommendations from you guys!

I’ve been doing a lot of research on sunscreen and i came to a final list of good options for oily skin. I don’t like the greasy feeling on the skin and like ones that have good oil control and leaves a velvet and matte finish that last trough the day. So despite the good ingredients list and having my favourite active niacinamide i would like some help from you guys to choose a new one based on user experience!

Oily Skin Matte Sunscreen

I live in a tropical weather so it’s very hot and humid here and i have oily skin.  i’ve had some difficulties to find an sunscreen that doesn’t get oily trough the day, has a velvety or matte finish and doesn’t gent flaky under makeup since the reformulation on the Sunshield Airy Finish from ETUDE. Could you guys help me and recommend some products?

Best sunscreen for oily skin

I’ve been seeing lots of posts and adds on this brand but i never tried anything or seen anyone talking about it, it seems a little too cheap but also promising brand. What area your thoughts on them? Have you ever tried any of their products? And if you tried them what do you think?

What’s your opinion on Papa Recipe?

The only “negative” thing is that sometimes it stings a bit around the eyes and when combined with other treatments it can cause a bit of discomfort since the skin will be really thin. Whenever i’m using retinol or adapalene i suspend the use. I wouldn’t say that’s a negative thing, but a little extra caution when using.

I recently got really hyped up about this product, The SKIN1004 Tone Brightening Toner it’s super gentle on the skin but also really effective in clearing up acne scars and improving skin texture. I’ve tried for almost 3 months now!

INGREDIENTS!

MadeWhite  – this is a patented ingredient that consists in madecassoseide helps to provide clear and bright skin. It is also an alternative to Vitamin C which may be sensitizing to those with sensitive skin.

Centella Asiatica - A classic from SKIN1004, has soothing and calming properties, it helps preventing irritation and skin sensitivity 

Niacinamide - A super active (my personal favourite) that helps brighten darks spots, improves skin texture and helps with oil control.

Allantoin- It improves the celular renewal, reduces inflammation and irritation and helps with skin umectation

Panthenol- Hidrating agent that’s good for sensitive skin

I’ve noticed significantly improve on the skin texture, and noticeable improvement on dark spots. In my experience, (acne prone with oily resilient skin) it’s a holy grail they i use in my routine frequently. Also leaves a tacky feeling in the skin that’s been great under sunscreen and makeup

nothing bad about it, it’s my holy grail. the only thing that i can say it’s if your skin is dry, try the premium version of the lotion that’s more milky and hydrating 

I love this lotion, it’s so lightweight and so hydrating. Perfect for hot weather and tropical places because it hydrates a lot without causing sweat or being heavy on the skin. It has 7 topes of hyaluronic acid which makes it super rich in hydrofilic ingredients and yet super light

Not exactly something bad, but i feel like most of the reviews don’t talk about the tackiness on the skin after applying the ampoule. It’s great for layering products on top and makeup as week but is a sensorial that some might not like.

A little bit late on this review, but i honestly love this ampoule. I thinks it’s great for sensitive oily and dry skin. It’s super lightweight on the skin and easily gets absorbed. On my skin i noticed a soothing sensation right after using especially when i keep it in the fridge (secret tip for extra cooling sensation). It has no fragrance and no other ingredients besides Cica extract so lets talk about their properties!

Basically it’s a must have on your skincare routine if you’re not allergic to it! I would super recommend 💖


The negative parts of this product are 

1- Strong fragrance that might irritate sensitive skin. Since the serum has so many renewing agents, the skin is more exposed to irritation.

2- It can reacts with other products in your routine, during my usage i had to remove a few skin products that were being to harsh when using together to prevent skin damage and use more heavy moisturisers.

I’ve recently bought the axis y glowing serum for trying, it was the mini version but after over 2 weeks of using i’ve got some conclusions.

It’s definitely worth the hype and super comfortable to wear even at daytime (don’t forget to use sunscreen if you use during day), it’s a lightweight formula that absorbs quickly into the skin, it doesn’t leave the sensation of having something on your skin, but when you touch there’s a little bit of a grip that makes you acknowledge that there’s product there.

There are 3 main ingredients that called my attention 

1- Squalane
A oil dedicated from vitamin E that has calming, healing and hydrating properties. It’s good for sensitive skin and helps mantain the skin barrier.

2- Niacinamide 
My favourite active, does a good job at  oil control, brightening and smoothing the skin. It’s not too harsh and shows really quick results 

3- Hippophae rhamnoides
It’s packed with vitamin c that brightens the skin and helps uniformizing the tone.


None of the actives are photosensitive, but your skin will be more sensitive as you gently exfoliate and promove a turn over in the cells, so the usage of sunscreen is mandatory while using it 

NEGATIVE SIDES:

A bit of a weird strong herbal scent despite not being a scented product 

Really sticky finish and light film sensation on the skin 



I’ve been trying this product for a long period now and i’m so exited to share the experience with you guys! I love the gel texture and that’s fragrance and alcohol free so it’s really good for damaged skin and with active acne. I live in a very tropical climate so sometimes i keep it in the fridge for and extra soothing and cooling sensation when applying. I noticed an skin barrier improvement while using and a nice and healthy look on the skin. It has and acid ph wich absolutely makes a different in the skin absorption, it’s super fast and dries out leaving an dewy finish.
