Hi! Ever since I was a teen I’ve had (what I later learned were) sebaceous filaments on my nose and cheeks. They really bother me when I don’t wear makeup because they are so visible! I’ve tried exfoliating toner, AHA/BHA etc but nothing has made any difference. Does anyone else struggle with this and know of something that helps?

Help with sebaceous filaments and blocked pores!

I want to try slugging (late to the trend - I know!) and I do have Vaseline in the house… Is it a big no-no or could I use it around my eyes/not in my T zone? Has anyone tried it?

I’ve just started tretinoin (Retrieve Cream 0.05% - I think!) about 2 weeks ago. No purging or anything so far. I use it every second evening of so - firstly I apply a hydrating serum, then a pea sized amount of tret, then a thick moisturizer. So far there’s been absolutely no difference in my skin. I was wondering when other people saw a difference or how they applied it to make it more effective??

Okay, so I’ve had a (face) skin care routine forEVER but completely neglect my feet 😫 Can someone tell me what it is I should be doing to get smooth gorgeous feet? They’re not bad by any means, but the skin is a bit dry and I just need to be educated on what steps I should take/products I should use to get them looking AND feeling better!

FEET ROUTINE?

Hi! I had a couple spots on my back when I was a young teenager and for years now they have remained - as like raised scars? They never leave and I’m so self conscious about them. They’re not painful and never change but I want them gone. I’ve tried acne scrubs etc but nothing seems to work. Has anyone ever experienced this? Would love some help!!

I have oily skin and clogged pores so products like this excite me. However, I didn’t see any huge difference in my skin after using this consistently. My sebaceous filaments were just as prominent and my skin didn’t feel drastically smoother. Not a bad product, just not for me.

Will I purchase again? probably not. There are other AHA BHA toners on the market that are cheaper and are rated better.

The product claims to remove dead skin cells, and moisturize at the same time. I had no bad experiences using this product every day, in combination with the other Nacific AHA BHA products.

For an exfoliating toner, I found this product to be very gentle. When compared with my Paula’s Choice AHA BHA toner, this one seems very delicate and gentle on the skin.

Upon translating the packaging, I learned that it claims to ‘reduce wrinkles and whiten’.. whiten? uhh.
What size expected with this AHA BHA serum was to make my skin look brighter, more youthful and glowy. to be very honest, I didn’t notice those effects. Maybe my skin is just used to stronger products that this more delicate serum just didn’t produce any noticeable effects. However, I didn’t experience any negative effects so will continue using and will perhaps notice that after 2+ months of use some change in my skin. The scent is not my favourite either, a bit too artificial for my liking. 

I received this product from PICKY and Nacific in return for my honest review. This serum is pinkish in colour and feels lovely on the skin. It absorbs right in and doesn’t pill or feel harsh on the skin at all. 

It probably would be too heavy for daytime use, for my oily skin.

I’ve been using this as a night cream since I have oily skin and don’t use rich moisturizers during the day. This moisturizer is quite thick but absorbs super easily and spreads all over the face and neck. I usually use a more watery textured moisturizer, and this is certainly not that. As a thick cream, it leaves my skin feeling so moisturized even when I wake up in the morning.

While some creams irritate my skin and make it burn, this one doesn’t - indicating that it is perfect for sensitive skin which mine can be after using retinoids or being exposed to cold weather. I think, coming into the winter, this will be a lifesaver!

This ‘water-fit sun serum’ is a chemical sunscreen that aims to hydrate and moisturise the skin. The products in this line are formulated with a unique blend of Centella and Hyaluronic Acid, hence the name Hyalu-Cica. It certainly does exactly what it is supposed to It comes out a white colour, but blends in so quickly to the skin leaving your skin with the freshest, most stunning glow! It doesn’t leave any white cast, either. All that plus SPF 50!! I am in love. 

I have seen from other reviews that this product works really well on drug skin, but coming from an oily-skin girl, this product is a new holy grail. It doesn’t make me look greasy or sweaty, like I find the Supergoop glow screen tends to do. 

The bottle is very convenient pump-tube, I use 2 pumps for my face daily. 

I love everything about this sun serum/sunscreen.

This is a lightweight vegan sunscreen that has both UVA and UVB protection. It is a hybrid (physical+chemical) sunscreen. It has a light citrus scent and no white cast. It didn’t irritate my skin at all. It feels super moisturizing to apply although I do apply a separate moisturizer before spf. The product claims to be hydrating and I can confirm it made my skin feel silky smooth and plump. As someone with oily skin, I worry that SPF can make me look greasy but this one didn’t! Win! 

Overall I quite enjoyed including this in my daily routine and would recommend this SPF for all skin types.
