I don't normally have problems with maskne but due to how hot and humid our weather is this summer, I find myself with this problem omk. So what products do you use to calm maskne?

None really. Be careful though with pouring, it lets out a lot of amount and you're frugal like me, you know every drop counts hehe. 

ISNTREE GREEN TEA FRESH TONER

Even though this toner is well raved in social media, I was pleasantly surprised to see it work for my skin (lol). I bought the mini version first so I could try it (it was on sale, so I had to buy it). The scent is kind of herbal-y, I don't mind though (I am not very particular to scents) so. The texture is  watery and can be easily absorbed by the skin. It should also be mentioned that this toner has a brown-reddish hue which is matched by the bottle packaging. I think its pretty cute and a welcome change (my toners are usually clear/transparent).I found that using this toner on a morning and night basis reduced my sebum production and it lightened the acne scars on my cheeks which is *cue heart eyes*. It is also fungal-acne safe, and free from other stuff such as paraben and additives, which is 100000/10. The price is pretty decent and acceptable since it sells for 200ml (regular size). I don't use much (just a few drops) so I'm pretty sure this will last me for quite some time :)

Will I purchase again? Yes, I already did lol.

Do I recommend this? Million times yes. I have combo skin and it worked perfectly for me so if you're like me, press add to cart like pronto <33.

I was kind of dissapointed with this one. This is my first entry to the NACIFIC brand and it fell short ://. Not that I am a beginner to exfoliants--I've used AHA toners before this one and it worked well with my skin. Not necessarily a bad product, its probably just not for me. 


NACIFIC PINK AHABHA TONER

I will be honest here, I bought the toner because of the pink packaging. Sike i am just kidding! The pink line from Nacific is relatively new when I bought this toner so I was intrigued reading its claims. It is an exfoliating toner containing both AHA/BHA properties so care is needed when incorporating this into your routine. My skin stung using this for the first time but it wasn't that painful. After some uses ( i use this 2/3 times per week), my skin got used to it and the sting reduced/ became tolerable. The texture is watery and leaves a sticky texture and a smooth finish. The scent is a little bit sweet, reminiscent of a watermelon's. As for its claims, the toner is not drying and is actually moisturizing, being an exfoliant. I don't have any prominent results with this product after using it for a month so I am quite on the fence on this one. It had no effect on the small bumps nor did it lightened the dark spots on my face. I will probably make another review once I finish the bottle to finalize my thoughts about this toner. 

Will I purchase again? Just from this initial review, probably not. There are many exfoliant toners in the market that are cheaper and are rated better. 

Will I recommend this product? Ehhhh, not really, but what didn't work for me may work for others! The ingredients are promising and if you think this toner may be well suited to your skin, then by all means, please give it a try!




Be careful on squeezing the product out as it somehow has a liquid-gel consistency and can ooze out. Aside from this, I have nothing negative to note about the product.

My first impressions upon receiving the product was just how big and packed the soothing cream is. It is 100ml per tube bottle, in a simple white design that I adore. The cream itself has a gel consistency, is slightly transparent with a greenish-yellowish tint, and it bounces slightly at the touch. There is no scent, as claimed. Moving on to its application, I use it as my second to the last product before sunscreen and after applying serum. It dries easily and you can immediately feel how moisturizing and hydrating the product is, along side being cool-ish. I find that it is slightly sticky at the beginning but it becames matte after some while. I've been using this for some two weeks now and since then I experienced no adverse reactions like breakouts or such. Given that it packs a lot of amount, I reckon that this will be great to use in the body, as well as alternative treatments to rashes and/or insect bites due to its aloe vera component. 

Will I purchase again? This is still debatable since Organic Ground has no official shops here in our country and although I was impressed by the product itself, I would rather purchase skincare products that are easier to buy without the worries of tax and all. Till Organic Ground makes it way to the Philippine market, I probably won't make a purchase just yet. 

Do I recommend this product? Yes, I actually do. It does as claimed and I really liked how it sells big tubes so that it would last for a long time. It can also be used as a body moisturizer and treatment for insect bites (I am looking at you, mosquitoes) besides using it in the face. It is not irittating and does a great job as a soothing and cooling cream. It is not thick or thin and so can be used in hot or summer weather without being too suffocating on the skin. I am not certain about it being enough for winter season though. 



ISNTREE HYALURONIC ACID TONER

Bought this originally for my dad but ofc ya girl has to try this one for herself as well. I am really a fan of skincare products that feature HA as their main ingredient (kinda basic but its a staple, no qs asked). The texture is slightly thick, kind of viscous but it is not sticky at all, which i totally love <3. Its easy to apply and when patted to the skin, it gives off instant hydration and leaves the skin bright and soft for me. There is no artificial fragnance also so another point for that. It's also fungal acne safe so hurrah for us who experiences folliculitis. Its lowkey pricey ? but if you have the means then this is a no-brainer. It sells for 200ml for bottle so you'll get the bang for the buck most def. 

Will I purchase again? Yes babeyyy!!. 

Do I recommend this product? Yes!! This will definitely work for dry skin types and those with sensitive skin. It is very hydrating and free from a lot of additives.

Face Republic Calming Blemish Madecassoside serum

I cannot stress enough how much i love the texture of this serum!! It is milky (bordering on watery) and lightweight on the skin, so it feels like nothing on the skin. It is hydrating enough but would probably need more help if you have dry skin. For this reason though, the serum can be used during the summer seasons and in hot places. It has no icky smell (fragnance free) so another good point for the serum. I use this every nighttime, after a toner and before a thick moisturizer, and it took some while to finish the 45 ml bottle. For the results, I cannot say that I saw any. The short term effect after application is desirable enough, hydrating ( as I have mentioned before) and it makes my skin softer to touch. It did nothing to ease my pimples or lighten my blemishes ( as advertised).

Will I purchase again? Not probably. 

Do I recommend this product? For those who like a milky texture and feels like the ingredients are a must in their regime, this may work. I am not a huge fan of the serum as the final verdict, so I cannot really recommend the product as much as I'd like.
