Sometimes, simplicity is key. I've been using the Deep Hydration Trio from The Potions for about a week, so I can't tell if it has any long-lasting effects, but my skin does feel more plump and hydrated.

1) Jojoba oil: already one of my favourite skincare ingredients because absorbs quickly and feels light and elegant on the skin. I use this to seal serums in day/night before moisturizer 💦

2) Peptide serum: leaves my skin looking visibly plumper. I use this every other night (when I don't use retinol) or every other day (when I don't use vitamin c) 🍑

3) Hyaluronic Acid ampoule: seals in moisture after cleansing 💧

My favourite part about this trio is how easy they are to incorporate into an existing skincare routine for added moisture during the colder months ❄️

The Potions Deep Hydration Trio Review

I need more time to remove waterproof mascara, but I don't mind because it doesn't sting my eyes and it's a very gentle formula.

Great cleanser for dry skin! 
Hydrating, gentle and effective foam cleanser that easily removes makeup. Face is left feeling clean, but still hydrated and prepped for my nighttime skincare routine 🌝

Product comes out of the tube as a paste, becomes a milky texture when mixed with water, and eventually bubbles as a foam after massaging. You only need about a fingertip amount for the entire face and the tubes are made of recycled plastic ♻️


Leaves a white cast upon application, but does disappear after rubbing in (which kind of defeats the purpose of a sun stick if you are using it to avoid touching your face). 

Your makeup will rub off on the stick or smudge when you rub it in.

This is fine for no-makeup days and best for very fair skin. Generally, sunscreen sticks are great for travel and convenience and this is the first mineral stick I've tried.

Canadian winters can be very harsh for the skin's barrier. I often find my skin flaking and drying out during the colder months. 

Centella Asiatica is amazing for repairing and reinforcing skin barrier. I've been using this ampoule 1-2 times per week and have noticed a big improvement in skin hydration. Highly recommend!

Strong alcohol scent and doesn't feel moisturizing.

One of my favourite sunscreens to wear under makeup! 
There's no white cast, a matte finish, and dries quickly. I love the gel consistency - it's very smooth and easily spreadable.

You really need to couple this with an eye cream because it is not hydrating at all.

Cost-effective and when it&#39;s combined with a hydrating eye cream, it does the job.
