First of all my condolence If you have it. I feel you. It really is kind of crippling. We all know how it goes,  there are thousands of new skincare products that are published every year with interesting formulations or ingredients or promises and you are hyped up to try them only to realize that they are Not fungal acne safe. Unfortunately this is not a rare case. It IS really hard to find fungal acne safe products especially fa safe moisturizer. Therefore here IS my questions which products did you find that are fungal acne safe. Here are some I've found. I am mostly excluding toners cause a lot of them are safe.

To all my fungal acne people and those who are blessed without this condition. Here IS my concern.
It IS nearly Impossible to find a good fungal acne safe sunscreen especially due to the fact how hard it IS to find a good one in the first place. 

Having fungal acne is a mess. Being Acne prone and having fungal acne is a disaster so let' s skip the Part where i am lamenting about my problems

But
(OK we all have seen this coming🤓) 
After a long ass search I found out that the missha sunscreen with the Long Name which I refer to the one with the Green Cap is fungal acne safe AND even though it has a scent it worked for me during my time of need. And yes I heard of the unnecassary new formulation of a few of the missha sunscreens but they mostly tend to also repackage those products. 
Living with this (albeit shaky knowledge) I purchased another one of the Green Cap sunscreen after a new occurance of my hateful skin friend and noticing that they are still sold with the old package. 


Unfortunately it seemed Like this sunscreen which always helped and never aggrevated my condition seemed to make it worse. Could it also be a victim of misshas new formulation craze?

Do you have a holy grail product, you whould never want to miss? As someone who dabbles for at least 10 years in skincare, even though I found some good products I repurchased cause they are nice and helpful, I still didn't found my holy grail product. Maybe I Just didn't try the right one. So I want to  ask what is yours? I really would appreciate your input😀

This Cream Claims to even out the skin & to replenish moisture. Therefore it contains betaine, panthenol, hyaluronic acid & adenosine.
It has a solid consistency that doesn't feel greasy 
but it leaves a whitecast on darker complexion.
Here IS what i do. I leave it on for a minute and then I spread it towards one direction instead of massaging in it. This helps to diminish the Whitecast but  you can still lightly see it. I don't see any evening Out of my skin but it  has a matt finish which I don't mind.Another Thing i noticed is, that after a certain time the moisturized face feels kind of dried as if that Cream sucked the moisture out of it.

The pump you can see is Not part of the product, instead I put it on myself after i finished another product and Just recycled the pump on it.

The original "Cap" is quite simple but in my opinion leads to a lot of spills during the use of the extract. Thus you might use more than you actually need.

The Onething Artemisia did more for my skin than the houttunia in regards of soothing and cooling  but this is just my personal preference.

The extract is in a simple plastic bottle, with a short label and Cap, nevertheless IT still is aesthetically pleasing just for its simplicity.

Even though it IS quite basic it also means that you get a lot of the houttunia cordata and that there are no unnecassary preservatives and added parfumes for those WHO are sensitive.
Still it has an herbal kind of smell, which I don't mind.
This also means that it is fungal acne safe.

The product itself has antiflammatory and soothing effects on the skin and thus might be exspecially for those who are sensitive and acne prone. But please still keep in mind that every skin ist different.

Pricey and in a Glass tub, which isn't exactly hygienic if you don't constantly use the spatula. Alone it might be not moisturizing enough.
Would rather recommend the Dr. G Red blemish Emulsion. You get more for your Buck and it is travel friendlier. I used it in combination with cosrx comfort ceramide Cream mist and it instantly calmed my maskne while nothing else helped.  This combination also diminished my maskne pimples.


Update July 2025
After Dr g got bought Up by another huge brand, The Had of course to Change The formulation, which i noticed to late after i bought two new Tubes Just two weeks ago.
And let me Tell you IT IS Not an improvement. I got cursed with huge horrible and painfully pimples, that kept coming until i realized The culprit.
 For those poor fungal Acne suffurer BE aware, this cream IS Not Safe anymore.
But at least The Emulsion still seems to BE Safe for use.


Light weight moisturizer, that calms the face. It helps with Acne and is fungal Acne Safe. You certainly see a difference after one use. I Love how it instantly calms my face and after a short while, I am talking about minutes, reduces the appearance of my pimple.


But while it didnt aggravated my skin it also didnt seem to actually sooth my skin. But this is something I personally noticed somehow applies to all Centella (skin1004, dr.jart, etc) products I used so far. Seems like my skin is more of a mugwort/artemisia kind of girl ( there I instantly see some soothing and calming of my skin). Nonetheless as a fungal acne sufferer it IS already a huge plus for me that it didnt broke me out.
The consistenzy of this product is quite funny.
While it initally seemed to be watery, I quickly noticed that after applying the essence,  it kind of gets oily but not sticky.

Overall it is a good product and a stable that won't aggravate you in your routine but for me it's not as promising as it might be for others.
Furthermore for a student on a budget it IS quite expensive.

Positive
This product consists of  only three ingredients which  means that almost any  skin will probably tolerate it well.
Even I with my fungal acne didnt get a flare up or any other signs of intolerance.

Due to it's basic INCI list it is also void of fragrances. For those WHO have problem with it or don't enjoy them, they can rejoice.
  
The promoted main ingredient of this Essence is Centella asiatica. Centella asiatica itself has inflammatory and antioxidiant properties that helps to calm the inflamed or eitherwise troubled skin down. Regarding its great tolerability it probably works for most people.

💧 Not recommended for Combination or oily skin
💧moderate cleansing Power but certainly Not enough

✨ Claim & package

This mild cleanser should be none irritating and mild with a ph of 5.5 ( which is best for skin).
It helps dissolving Makeup and impurities without stripping the skin or irritating the eyes.

The package  consists of recycled paper and is printed with soy ink. Even though it IS basic I find it nonetheless aesthetically pleasing and good for the environment. The Container is a plastic bottle of 220 ml with an attached pump.

The product contains a lot of moisturizing substances such as coconut, soybean, Rice, sweet Almond & oatmeal extracts.

✨Usage & Experience
You get a Milky lightly runny consistence which is easy to apply. It IS recommended to use it on dry skin until the make Up etc. melt. After that you can rinse it with warm water.

I didn't wear makeup while using this and it is true that it doesn't Strip the skin or makes it feel tight but I also didn't feel clean.  I probably miss the foamy consistency of cleansers. Which initially wasn't a problem cause I tend to use the two step cleansing methode since I daily use my sunscreen. But after I finished my whole routine I noticed that this cleanser caused my fungal acne to worsen.this might be the effect of the heavy use of (oily extracts)

✨ Conclusion 
- preferably for those with dry skin
- recommend it as a First step cleanser
- mild on the skin & non irritating on the eyes
- a vegan product
- no artificial fragrances
