Are any chemical sunscreens safe to use in pregnancy?

Krave claim their sunscreen is safe in pregnancy. How can this be if it is a chemical sunscreen? Is this claim based on any studies that found the UV filters used are safe? Or from the lack of proof that it ISNT safe?

The p20 website states all their products are safe for pregnancy as they are deemed “cosmetics”. However, most sources advice mineral sunscreens if you are pregnant? This is very confusing. I think Iwill advise a mineral sunscreen for my pregnant friends just to err on the side of caution.

Goes on beautifully. Leaves a lovely finish, not too greasy. (I have dry skin) My skin doesnt get oily or shiney during the day with this. I love that it offers 10 hours of protection, means i dont have to worry about reapplying during my work days (though if you are in the sun on a hit day, always better to be safe and just re apply) 

I have dark skin with hyperpigmentation, and this does not leave a white cast at all! However you do need to work it in to accomplish a transparent finish. Worth it though. New HG sunscreen for me.

There is some very mild pilling around the edges of my face if i layer other products underneath this. However, the pilling is minimal compared to other mineral sunscreens like PURITO comfy water. 

Waiting about 15-20 min between applying my moisturizer and this helps prevent any piling. It’s just abut having the time in the mornings to wait for my moisturizer to completely absorb into my skin...

The only mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast on my darrk skin at all! Just amazing!

Does not remove even mild make up. I doubt it removes SPF well. Suitable for a morning cleanse only, I dont trust it to do the job properly in the evening. sioris cleanse me softly milk cleanser is far superior.

Gentle. Does not strip the skin. Cleanes afequately. No fragrance.

There are photos on here of a lotion type consistency? Confusing as mine is definitely a toner.

Milky light watery consistency. Absorbs easily into my skin. Works well with other products. The bottle lasts for ages! My skin is brighter and more even since introducing it into my routine!

Fragranced - I like it, but I know some skin care enthusiasts can be turned off by it

Very moisturizing, lovely thick balmy textre that absorbs quickly into the skin. Soothing ingredients are a treat on days you may have over exfoliated. Has yet to break me out. Very affordable as well!
