💚 Cerave Hydrating Cleanser is the one! 💚

Sent to me kindly as part of the #ceravecommunity I have tested this cleanser and here are my thoughts 💭 

The texture is light and is designed not to foam. It’s easy to apply and a little goes a long way. It works effortlessly to remove all traces of makeup and does so without stripping the skin or leaving it feeling tight or dry.  I wore fairly heavy makeup in this clip and you can see after first cleanse, almost all makeup was removed with ease.

It has 3 ceramides in it which help protect the skin barrier & it also has the hero ingredient Hyaluronic acid in it which helps lock in the skins natural moisture.

Whilst the bottle says for normal to dry skin, as it is developed by dermatologists, is non comedogenic, non irritating and fragrance free, it is suitable for all skin types.

My skin feels smooth, fresh and glowy after using this, and I can definitely notice a difference in the hydration this gives my skin, compared to other cleansers I have used.

Would definitely recommend & will be repurchasing!

I received this product for free from Picky and The Skin House in exchange for my honest review.

I was so excited to try my first K beauty product from @go.picky @pickyrewards & @theskinhouse_official & I was not disappointed!

The first thing to note was the beautiful packaging. Simplistic with an air of elegance. Next was the transformative liquid which on shaking turned into the most beautiful shimmering, pearlescent consistency, dreamy!

Key ingredients in this beauty are:

🫶🏼 brown rice bran to promote even skin tone and improve cell turnover.

🫶🏼 panthenol and castor oil which provide prolonged hydration and skin barrier care.

This is a gentle formulation which can be used to remove light makeup, sunscreen and other impurities from the skin. It is really effective and feels refreshing on the skin.

I found the texture lovely and there was no stickiness and it was easy to incorporate into my daily routine.

I can sometimes be sensitive to new products but there was no irritation and was easy to use. Another feature which I really enjoyed was the no rinse element. Great for speed when in a rush.

I really enjoyed this product and would recommend to others!

Here it is, in full swing, doin it's thang!

The words gentle, deep cleansing, hydrating and sensitive skin rarely are seen together or at least, you never think one product can cater to all of those things.

Enter stage left, this badboy! @Garnier's Hydrating Deep Cleanser does it all! As you can see on the micellar reusable ecopad, it makes light work of removing my makeup, removing all traces very quickly and efficiently. Some cleansers will do this at a surface level, but leave your skin still feeling dull. This cleanser really draws out any residual dirt and oil and gives a feeling of a deep and thorough cleanse. My skin felt squealy clean afterwards, without any feeling of tightness.

The bods at Garnier have combined hyaluronic acid into this formula to ensure that whilst the deep cleanse is happening, moisture is being locked in and your skin is being hydrated at the same time. The addition of clay is what helps draw out the impurities, whilst the ceramides get to work protecting the skin barrier and helping with water loss.

I trialled this over a prolonged period of time, using a double cleanse routine. I definitely noticed an improvement to the surface and appearance of my skin and I would say my pores appeared diminished as well, which was a massive selling point. My skin isn't particularly sensitive, however it did feel gentle and soothed after use so would support the claim of being suitable for sensitive skin. This is of course backed by dermatologists, not just me! It's fragrance free, sulphate free, vegan and cruelty free.

Here’s what I thought 💭

The packaging is sleek & classy, the simple monochrome colours make it feel stylish & gives a good first impression.

The smell of the product is divine. As a coffee lover I was always going to love it, but the touch of cinnamon, sugar and coconut combined with it is delish!

The texture is as you’d expect for a scrub, if a little tricky on first application. However, tip is to wet skin enough for it to grab product and work quick.

After application, the product rinsed easily and left my skin feeling smoother after the exfoliating properties had been put to work. The coconut oil also left a nice moisturised feel which is a pleasant addition for an exfoliating product as they can often be harsh and leave skin feeling tight and dry.

I used my sample sized product on my face to target my areas of concern. However, after seeing great results from the applications I was able to get from my trial pack, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the full size to see what it could do for larger areas & would have every confidence it would get to work & deliver as it did on my face!

Can we talk about the cult Huda beauty product I was gifted by skeepers - Easy Bake Loose Powder please?!

This stuff is the bomb! 💣

This nifty powder comes in a well thought out container that has a protector to prevent spills and, a mesh layer to ensure you can get the right amount of product into the space without causing chaos!

It’s subtly scented which I love. Some products can smell chemically or just generally unpleasant, however this has a gentle musk smell. It is ultra fine and it’s silky smooth in texture and blends soooo well. It leaves you with a luminous finish, with no shine and I was so surprised at how well it blurred my skin. The finish it gives really is amazing.

You can use it to bake or set your makeup. Once you’ve used this, you can rest assured your makeup is going nowhere and you’ll have a matte finish for a good 7 hours. What’s stand out is that it doesn’t gather in creases or feel or look cakey. Your look will stay put and any oil is kept at bay. Another win is it’s performance in the selfie game - zero flashback! 👌🏼

It can be used to brighten the under eye area too however, the shade I chose was too dark for me to brighten with so I used it to set and bake my face. It has colour correction too which is great as it works to balance areas and highlights different contours of the face.

I noticed a massive difference in the longevity of my makeup when using this and, above all, the Uber blurred, smooth finish it gave me.

It’s a super hard working powder that I’d definitely recommend. Be sure to consult the colour charts when making your selection and be mindful if you are wanting to use for brightening under eye to bear that in mind and select accordingly.
