I recently purchased a pack of masks (random selection) but some of the masks included are Dr. Jart! Have you used this brand at all, that sells packs of other products? I didn’t realize Dr. Jart was considered Korean Beauty!

The bad: There are two things I did NOT like about this product. The first is that after a few days of using this product, I started to develop a minor amount of milia in the area between my eye and nose. The other negative for me personally is the CVS receipt-length ingredients list. This includes many ingredients that I don’t love such as Titanium Dioxide, Phenoxyethanol, multiple PEG/PPGs, Tetraacetylphytosphingosine (some forms of which are known to be hazardous to the eyes!?), and Bht which has a moderate concern for causing cancer and high concern for allergies & immunotoxicity.  TLDR: This seems nice, and I was going to give it 4 stars but the ingredients list made me rethink that rating. If you’re comfortable with the ingredients it may be for you! I just am extra cautious with items around my eye area. 

The good: The texture and consistency are perfect - creamy and light! It sinks into the skin beautifully and leaves a nice glow behind in its wake. The scent is extremely light, but still there and what I would describe as botanical. Not earthy or mossy, but almost like foliage that has been rained on! It truly is a unique smell and one I found myself indulging in with every application. If you are okay with a light amount of fragrance you might like this one! It does contain fragrance as one of the ingredients though, so the scent is not natural to the actives.

There are a couple ingredients that are on my “no” list: Phenoxyethanol and Red Dyes

I recently purchased this Hydrating Toner, and I tend to be oily so I was a little concerned that I would get more oily as a result. However, this product is alcohol-free, and balances the skin’s pH while lifting impurities. I decided this would be perfect to put on at night so it can work while I sleep! Sodium PCA helps replenish lost moisture, while chamomile and cucumber extracts soothe the skin! Also included are Grape Seed Extract to help lock in moisture, Peach and Cucumber Fruit Extracts to soothe irritation and soften skin, and Osmolytes to help the skin regulate its water balance for optimal hydration levels! This sinks into the skin beautifully, and I have not noticed an increase in oiliness from using it. I think it works well in my nighttime routine!

Honestly there isn’t anything bad about this product. The only thing that some may consider “BAD” is the storage aspect. You truly do need a soap dish or somewhere to store this so it doesn’t get your shower soapy or get too washed away by the water. 

This product claims that you will see results in 5 washes and let me tell you..it’s true! I honestly noticed benefits that weren’t even listed! First of all, my hair seems thicker after 5 uses. I took before and after photos! My hair doesn’t get as greasy between washes like it previously did (it still does because I only wash 2X a week, it just gets less oily). I seriously believe that in 5 washes I notice growth in my hair! Also, my curls seem more moisturized and bouncy than usual, even without added products! 

Honestly, nothing! I think the worst part is lack of scent. It says mint scent, but I didn’t notice that.

The XXL applicator on this product is absolutely amazing! The product itself is not sticky at all, and has a high-gloss finish! I love layering it over other lipsticks, as well as applying on its own! The color is just sheer enough that it gives a bit of color without being too bright. The skincare ingredients in this are amazing too!

Some ingredients aren’t considered “clean” such as Phenoxyethanol. 

This is the perfect moisturizer for oily skin! It is almost weightless, it absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn’t leave an oily look behind just a bit of a natural glow but not shine. It helps control oil, helps to mattify skin, and also includes properties to help the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles over time!
