Wondering how BB cream is different from CC cream and from tinted moisturizer? 

BB cream stands for “beauty balm” while CC cream stands for “color corrective” cream. Tinted moisturizer is basically moisturizer with a hint of shade.

These multipurpose products may contain many ingredients & may serve many functions.  But, remember to still use your actives daily for any particular skin concern you may have as the ingredients in the overall formulation may not be sufficient.

Knowing what each symbol means can guide us on how to use our skincare products. 

🧴Labeling of skincare products usually include:
✔️Ingredients
✔️Particular precautions during use (if necessary to ensure safe use);
✔️Date of minimum durability or Period After Opening (PAO)
✔️Function, unless already clear from its presentation
✔️Manufacturing company/country

Though there are no standardized regulations with the use of these labels, it is nice to be familiar with what each of these means.

💦The use of facial serums has been trending. Serums have lightweight formulation with active ingredients.

With its popularity, I often get asked if it is a NEED? 

💦 My honest opinion is that serums are just nice add-ons to your basic skincare routine. You may opt to add or to skip it.  They complement the benefits you get from your basic skincare (cleanse, moisturize & sunscreen).

Do I use a serum? Yes, I do as an add-on to my basics. Recently, I’ve tried @skin1004official ‘s Madagascar Centella ampoule. Thank you to @go.picky for gifting it🤍

Skincare Do’s & Don’ts in Cool Weather

Given that I am living in a tropical country, the hot weather may make the ingredient feel  thicker in consistency. Though, I personally didnt experience any breakouts, since my skin is resilient. I couldn’t say for people with sensitive skin.

The ingredients may be viscous buy when applied on my face, it is lightweight, and easy to apply. I didn’t experince any irritation. Another good poiny is that it didn’ have any scent at all, so good for people with fragrance allergy. I applied it on a post-inflammatory red mark, and after 4 weeks, I noted lightening of the area. Though, I also use retinoids &amp; sunscreen, there may be a synergistic effect. So, I’d recommend this to people who have PIE.

The pump for the bottle puts out more of the serum than what i would usually apply

VitC serum at its best. I’ve tried other brands of Vit C serum but so far TIMELESS VitC serum leaves no sting at all. The texture of my skin got smoother after consistent application. It also lightens my dark spots.

Upon application, my skin feels smoother. For my case, it took about 3 months to see full effects. 

I apply this as part of my AM routine.

This product thought cost-effective must be used once opened since it hardens and leaves an odor if not used

This manages my chapped lips given the cold weather. It is a must-have skincare product! It can also helps moisturize nails!

Hopefully, this product will lighten my marks. As of the moment, it only hydrates my skin, no other effects are seen right now. But, I will definitely recommend this product for people with dry and dehydrated skin.

I love this product because it is lighteeight and is really soothing on the skin upin application. I have been using this for 3 weeks now and I love its texture because it doesn’t feel heavy (which is absolutely suitable in a tropical country where I’m at). I didn’t feel any irritation. My skin feels smooth and has better texture after using this serum.

This product is amazing for its hydrating effect from the glycerin component. My face feels refreshed the morning after i apply this overnight. It helps address dehydrated skin, especially helpful when the cold weather comes. It is also light when applied, and doesn’t leave a sticky texture ( a plus point for people living in humid areas) 

Definitely, this is a must-try skincare product!
