I have been adding sheet masks in to my nightly routine 2-3 days a week now, and love how much easier they are compared to old school mud type masks. My question is do you have a favourite brand of sheet mask you would recommend I try? So far I have just been using those that I find on sale or that I have received as samples. I’d love to be more deliberate about it though.

A whole long time ago, when oil cleansing was just beginning to become more popular in N. America I found advice to mix my own oil cleanser from castor oil and another nourishing face oil (proportions amd type dependent on slin type). This worked great for me, really cleaned well and I used it for quite awhile. Eventually though, I thought to try commercial products to save time and see what was out there. All of the oil cleansers I’ve tried though have either been way too thin to clean well, or else thick creams that are more a moisturizer than anything else. Does anyone here have recommendations for a happy medium product that you love?

These millenial velvet lip tint 04 burnt pink and millennial tint glit 02 red to go are the first #kbeauty lippies I’ve tried and I am impressed. They are really pigmented, have great staying power and actually smell nice. The containers are really classy looking, and I appreciate being able to see the colour through the base (it works nicely in the makeup stand that I use). Both of these colours are a bit brighter than I usually choose, but they’re definitely wearable, and I can see where they would work for a variety of skin tones.

I haven’t found any negatives for this serum.

The Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Advance Serum contains licorice water for hydration and whitening properties, as well as pine bark extract, glutathione and niacinamide. It has a more viscous texture than most serums I use, but it absorbs quickly. There is little to no fragrance and it is quite hydrating, even prior to using my moisturizer. It also has a lovely, noticeable whitening effect.

There is a light citrus scent to both products. I liked it, and didn’t find it offensive at all, but if you are sensitive to fragrances this might be a deal breaker for you.

As you can see it comes in attractive, minimalist black and white packaging. The face cream comes with a cute little spatula to allow you to scoop out the product without contaminating it. The texture of the face cream is a bit surprising at first. If you have used other snail products you will know what I mean by this. There is an extreme viscousness to them, almost a string like texture. It absorbs very nicely though, and don’t leave any stickiness or greasiness after just a minute or two.

The active ingredients to look out for are:

Extracts of ginseng, black beans, rice and cocoa to soothe, moisturize and nourish the skin.
and
Adenosine to stimulate the synthesis of collagen and elastin.

Overall I am extremely happy with this cream. It left my skin feeling moisturized and soft, but absorbed rapidly, so I was ready for the next steps in my routine quickly. Thank-you @go.picky @pickyrewards and @coxir_official for the opportunity to test these.

I have only had a few days to test the eye cream, but so far, so good. It has a great line up of active ingredients (see the list below), doesn’t feel greasy at all, but moisturizes nicely. Some of the fun things it contains:

Fermented Centella Asiatica - Infused with probiotics, including Lactobacillus and Centella Asiatica Extract Ferment Filtrate, it delivers instant soothing and promotes well-aging for your skin.
Bakuchiol - Often referred to as the gentler vegan alternative to Retinol, Bakuchiol helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles.
Carrot Collagen - Abundant in amino acids, carrot-based collagen with low molecular weight promotes collagen production in the skin.
Hyaluronic Acid - Low molecular Hyaluronic Acid facilitates quick and deep absorption, ensuring optimal moisture retention in the skin.
