I wanted to seek your advice on a new product I’ve been trying. I have some dark spots from previous acne on my face that I have been trying to lighten before my wedding in December. I recently purchased the Mary & May daily Niacinamide brightening masks. I have done two masks so far and I noticed what may be some purging. Is this typical or should I take this as a sign to discontinue? (I am normally very dry sensitive acne prone skin if that helps!) Also if you have any suggestions for brightening dark post acne marks that doesn’t cause purging, I would love some suggestions! Thank you so much💗💗💗💗

Niacinamide Mask - Continue or cease?

Hey everyone! 

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for how to tell when a product is causing breakouts/when a product is causing normal purging? I woke up with a few spots this morning after trying a new product and I’m not sure if it is clogging my pores. I have very dry acne prone skin and I recently introduced the A’Pieu Madecassoside 2x cream and was not sure if it just doesn’t work for my skin🤷🏼‍♀️

I struggle with overall dry sensitive skin and acne, does anyone have any recommendations for any good masks to combat dryness and restore my skin barrier? I am not usually a big fan of sheet masks and lean more towards wash off masks or sleeping masks but I am open to anything!

Nothing bad! It works exactly as promised!

I adore this product! I have two travel size lip balms in a sheer pink and sheer darker pink that I love to use on days where I don’t wear makeup! The lip balm goes on very smoothly and has a moisturizing and non sticky texture. It can be adjusted to apply more sheer or opaque depending on how many layers you add. Very subtle and glowy! 💗

The texture is oily after being rubbed in and causes my dry skin to break out all over after two nights of use. I would recommend using this only occasionally and patch testing before incorporating it into your routine. 

This product is very hevay which is perfect for when your skin is needing some extra hydration! It also provides instant calming for red skin. 

This overnight mask is incredibly refreshing and leaves my skin feeling hydrated until the morning. The texture is slightly watery and absorbs into the skin very quickly without stickiness. There is a light smell of rice but nothing too overpowering. I would recommend this for those with dry skin or for anyone during the winter months! ❄️

I haven’t noticed any changes in my skin when using it versus not.

The watery consistency of the ampoule dries down into the skin very nicely and leaves behind a nice hydrated feeling. 

Waterproof makeup can be difficult to remove with this cleanser. 

This is my favorite cleanser! It moisturizes the skin as it cleanses and is super gentle for redness and sensitive prone skin. There is a subtle scent to it, but it does not smell bad. It has a very milky consistency and does well applied to the skin dry or damp. I prefer to use this as my second cleanse after removing makeup.
