November Picky Box

Hey guys! since we’re ending our chapter for 2021, November Picky Box is the holy grail! I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Picky Team for prepping full size items and whats best, i paid only for the shipping fee! And box came just in time! Have you guys gotten these lovable box yet? 🤍

To be Honest, i have not yet started on the Centella Wash by Benton. But yes to the rest. 
Amongst these, Tiam Vitamin B3 Source is my favourite, and Second is The Potion Peeling Pad which i just use yesterday 😅

Tiam B3 source is light-weight, easily absorb and it does comfort my skin. Texture is slimy and i find this cooling. I have a combination skin and it does control my cheek excess sebums! A definite must buy serum! 

The Potion peeling pad, oh yes with just 1 pad, it removes excess debris off my face! I couldn’t comment much on the efficacy but i do love the minty cica scent! 

For Hue Calm Pine Bud Brightening Mask, when i first use, it was slightly stingy, probably because i have slightly sensitive skin. i didnt browse through much of the ingredients that probably causes my face to sting, but after it sits about 2-3mins, it settle down and i use for good 15mins and yes, super hydrating! 

Last but not least, the Real Barrier Extreme cream. Texture is extremely thick and heavy but defnitely a thumbs up for dry or even combination skin. I used this on alternate days,

I have been reading almost the same ingredients such as niacinamide, vit c & retinols in discussions till i mastered it! Lol! Is there any other ingredients that you think it’s underrated? 

I wished to know and incup in our routine. Comment a product and why it is good please?

Best Cica Treatments

Just wanna ask opinion on which 1. peeling(exfoliating) pad is good? 
As well as 2. Toner Pad?

Peeling Pad & Toner Pad

Hey, just wanna share my facial journey or if any of you guys have similar concerns. 

Picture on the left was in April 2020 and right is just yesterday. I had some breakouts due to pandemic wearing surgical mask and N95 as i worked in Healthcare and we still do wearing the mask all day. 

I have been battling with acne scars, pigmentations and etc and it has been a long hiatus but using facial products doesn’t come this instances, need to be consistent and trial & errors. 

My holy grails are vitamin c, retinol & nicinamide. It helps me alot in brightening. 
And i dont do scrubs, i do gel peeling and exfoliating pads & I visited facial once a month. 
Dont forget your mask 3x weekly, mostly i used any sheet hydrating mask :) 

I will tagged the products i used that have help me through my journey.

My Facial Journey, and where do i start?

Well just came too small, just 60mls, otherwise all great! 

This product is just wow! It is the moisturizer i have been searching for my morning! its just so light, non fragrance, and i love how thin the consistency, resulting in no sticky effect yet it is beneficial and deeply moisturizing! I will definitely give this a repeat buy. 

A small bottle perhaps and costly for a tiny product. 

Key ingredients: Mandelic acid (5%), beta-glucan, panthenol, centella asiatica extract, houttuynia cordata extract.

Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water

Comes in plastic brown bottle in 120mls 
This exfoliating toner or prepping water is transparent, texture is watery without any distinct smell. 

- Product Claims 

A gentle exfoliating water developed to smoothen skin tone & texture.
Formulated with Mandelic Acid, which works gently even on sensitive skin.
Removes build up dead skin to enhance the effects of following skin care products, it helps even out a dull and/or uneven skin tone, and smoothens rough skin.

- My Personal Experience 

I dripped these on a cotton pad as instructed on the bottle for optimal result. I can feel my face a little stingy, probably the effects of these being an exfoliatant. I felt it stings more over my cheeks. I used another round of pad over my nose, where my pores are more visible and bigger. And thereafter, I wiped away the remaining moisture with another dry cotton pad. I can feel that my dead skin is satisfiying clean when i saw my used cotton has much dirt on it!
I applied the rest of my treatment regime and most importantly, i used a water calming moisturizer by Hanyul to soothe my face. 

- Suggestion
I probably think this prepping water might be a little too strong for acne prone or sensitive skin. Be sure to layer or use a barrier moisturizer to keep your skin supple. 


- I would Rate…
This a 8 out of 10. I believe a more stingy preppers are a good and effective exfoliatants. I used this twice a week, i wouldnt  wantto over exfoliates my face. Yes, for a repeat buy! 


It came in 60mls, i always finish this tube in less than a month. Also quite pricey for a small tube. 

I love how this moisturizer in gel form soothes my skin immediately! It has medium consistency and it absorbed pretty much quickly! As described, this light and moisturizing gel helps to calm my skin after my retinol application, my tight and dry skin after wash almost felt elastic 😍 
it has people’s choice and favourite active ingredients; Centella Asiatica extract & leaf water and yes Niacinamide! 

If u have your skin barrier a lil compromised, it will sting a lil. 

a short intro, this ampoule perhaps has the most minimal yet beneficial ingredients because it contains Centella Asiatica Extract (81.44%), Hyaluronic Acid, Pathenol, Allantoin, Madecassoside & Chamomile extract, an indeed popular look out for skincare enthusiast! 

Been using this at Day 16, and very much in my favour! I applied it twice during my AM & PM routine. 
This non-fragrant ampoule has a clear but nectar-like texture, yet surprisingly it absorbs pretty quickly! Just a few rub and poofff it sinks underneath your skin! amongst many cica-based i’ve tried, i got to give a thumbs up for this, apart from being non-sticky, it gives an instant fresh and soothing effect! Thus, i did a trial to use this before my retinol routine, really, perfect combo! 😍

For this, definitely a good grab for me, nothing in all honesty. 

I think this is ultimately a honest review after using half of the bottle. Literally i am loving it! 
Its refreshing and whats best it is a gentle exfoliator for daily use! 

It comes in 500mls and definitely worth the price. Klairs daily softening toner is my choice of prepping my skin before anything else, it clears remaining debris out of my skin after a normal cleansing. I use it generously with a cotton pad for maximum benefit. 

Minimalist ingredients is ultimately my choice for a toner plus cucumber or its extract is known for its natural hydrator. This might not be a rave toner but yes to my list for a repeat buy.
