Since i have fungal acne, there are a few things i had to watch out for. It contains fermented ingredients, which some people with fungal acne can react to. And while this fragnance free version is definitely the safer option, not all ingredients are 100% Malassezia-safe, so there is still a small chance it might trigger breakouts on more sensitive skin. So do a patch test first and keeping the rest of your routine simple to avoid layering tissues. 
Overall, its a lovely and hydrating essence with a silky finish, but for us with fungal acne-prone skin, it's one fo those "test and observe" products.

I actually won this product from the HaruHaruWonder × Picky Japan event, so i was super excited to try it out!
I used this for 2 weeks to see the results, and i can see why it gets so much love. The texture is lightweight and it absorbs into the skin quite well, it will leave it hydrated.  But, just don't apply too much or it can gen VERY SRICKY on the skin. It is also fragnance free so it feels gentler and less likely to irritate. 

This sunscreen can feel too heavy and oily if you don’t give it enough time to absorb. The texture is quite thick, and if you’re in a rush, it may leave your skin looking greasy. Also, it might not be the best choice for those with fungal acne since the formula can be problematic for sensitive or acne-prone skin.

I received this as part of the Haruharu Wonder x Picky Japan set, along with the Black Rice Essence I already reviewed. The sunscreen is actually really nice! At first, it feels a little thick and slightly oily, but once you let it sit and absorb for about a minute, it settles beautifully. After that, it leaves my skin feeling silky, smooth, and glowy without the stickiness. It definitely gives a healthy finish and works well when you prep it properly.
