Has anyone ever have the experiences of broken Skin Barrier ?

Last year, I experience sudden break out all of my face. I’m still trying to figure it out why, since I use mostly gentle products. 

At first I taught it’s because I chance my moisturizer from gel type to cream. But have gone back to my old moisturizer.

Since have try a lot of things, and the cycle keep happening, I think it’s because of my skin barrier got broken.

Have skip chemical exfoliating and keep soothing it, and I can see the recovery a bit now. Less flushed face and the acne is calming down.

But some part of my acne just won’t go away.

Any tips how to recovery your Skin Barrier ?

PS : I have oily skin, stay in tropical country, and never have any issue with sensitive skin.

So after using a toner, which I love and believe is good.. turn out is the cause of my breakout after using bottles of it for 2 years..


Then I try another toner  “I’m from Mugwort Essence” which is known for calming acne, and got good reviews..
But it turn out causing more purging..

I’m usually not sensitive to any products, which is why I never though it’s because of the toner I’m using..

Anyone experience this before ?

So I got some bottles of toner that didn’t suit my skin..
Sometimes I used it :

✨ pour it in cotton pad to wiped away the oilyness after cleansing oil

✨ Soak it in cotton pad to remove excess sebum before touching up my make up

✨ Spalsh it to my body and hand  😆

Mind to share yours Toner hack, which didn’t suit your skin ?

Just trying out the sample, and feels like my skin love it more than the scented one. Feels more hydrating.

Nothing. Aside it do take time for aplication.

Texture : It’s smooth that I even use hand for aplication.

It does what it claims expect for my blackhead.
It does remove dead skin cell, make your skin feel softer and brighter after it.

My very first clay mask. It does the job. Face feel cleaner and brighter after use.

A bit oily, but it soak in minutes. Didn’t see the effect to fade the acne spot.

My very first serum. And love it. My face feels brighter and I think it help to shrink the pores.

It’s my first Aloe gel and the only one till now.
It’s hydarting enough for me, that I use it for my moisturizer step. Love the cooling effect and the fact that it’s alcohol-free.
